Dr. Cirillo is my daughter’s neurologist and I highly recommend her. We were going to a different neurologist initially and felt like we were being rushed through and not properly evaluated. Dr. Cirillo takes the time to thoroughly evaluate my daughter and we feel that her diagnosis is well thought out with careful deliberation. My daughter also enjoys Dr. Cirillo’s personality and bed side manner and looks forward to her appointments.

Dr. Melissa Cirillo is such a blessing to our daughter. She talks with her, not at her. She takes TIME explaining and has patience with all our questions. Her love for kids is obvious and we are fortunate to have her as our Neurologist.

Dr. Cirillo has been my child's doctor for almost three years and she and her entire staff have been fantastic. She spends a significant amount of time with each of her patients and really gets to the root of their symptoms. She is also extraordinary at putting kids at ease and making a visit to the doctor a lot less scary for them. She is always available outside office visits by email or phone and responds promptly. Additionally, her knowledge of pediatric neurology is outstanding.

Dr. Cirillo has been my son's Neurologist since he was diagnosed Epileptic two and a half years ago. She has always expressed great concern for him and been extremely kind to our whole family. She is the best. She would always make my son feel comfortable even if he always acted shy with her. When we had questions or concerns, she always had fast feed back and the proper solutions.

Dr. Cirillo has been our daughter's neurologist for almost 2 years, and we are saddened that she will be leaving, but thrilled for her new and exciting opportunities on the east coast. Doc Cirillo took us in at a time when we were not sure what our daughter's developmental delay's meant, and was an integral part in leading our treatment towards finding a diagnosis. We will miss her expertise, professionalism, and most of all, her outstanding disposition.

Dr. Cirillo is an amazing doctor! When our son started having seizures two years ago, she was a huge source of reassurance for us. She explained everything very clearly and spent a tremendous amount of time with us at each visit. She has always been available for questions and is very responsive to our calls. When the first medication we tried didn't work, she explained our next steps and options. Dr. Cirillo is fantastic, I have, and will continue to recommend her without reservation!

Dr. Cirillo is a wonderful provider. She is honest and does not order unneeded tests for children. She gives all points of view and truly works as a partner with the family. She relates well to my child and has since we started seeing her almost a decade ago. She is the only reason my family stays with Lurie Children's.

I met Dr. Cirillo in the hospital. While she was clearly intelligent recognizing a rare diagnosis, she was able to deliver the information in a caring and considerate manner. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a pediatric neurologist.

Dr. Cirillo was great until she could not figure out my daughter's condition. She began to lose confidence that she could figure it out and as her confidence dropped her attitude increased. She came to her hospital room less frequently and was eager to discharge while we had a very lethargic baby. I am not sure how she is practicing or working with children at all. I will never give up on my child and I want her medical team to have the same drive.

Dr. Cirillo was the only neurologist who actually took time to go over our daughter's 500 page medical record and came up with diagnosis. We was searching for a year and no one was able to tell us what was wrong with our child. We are so thankful what she did for us!
