I was in a facility that Mehdi is the director of for depression for a few days which resulted in FML leave from my employer. This so called doctor has refused to fill out the required FML paperwork that allows me to return to work. I have now depleted all of my sick time and now have to use my annual time as I cannot return to work until the forms are released and returned to HR. He does not return phone calls and his assistant at the facility is a stressed out social worker because of Mehdi’s laziness, shufflness of his direct duties and his inept performance as a leader in his “psychological world”. His assistant, bless her stressed soul, also stated that Mehdi May or May not complete the mandated FML forms. Next step is to contact someone in FML/ADA about this violation and how he is causing me hardship due to me not being able to return to work. Unfortunately, since Mehdi is the director, I cannot use the change of command at the facility for results.

I was unable to get an appointment with Dr. Mehdi, so I see the NP Olufunke Adewunmi. Dr. Mehdi stills signs the prescriptions for my medicine. I would not recommend this place. I started visiting Neuro Behavioral Health Associates when I moved to the area. I had my records from my previous doctor and this was the only place I was able to get an appointment. Every other psychiatric office I've ever seen has taken a mental health survey, weight, and blood pressure measurements at the beginning of every visit. I have never filled out a mental health assessment here, which is troubling for someone with my treatment history. The NP and office staff are nice, but I don't trust the quality of medical care that I am receiving. Beyond medical concerns, I have never had an appointment to start on time. Even early morning appointments run late. I've waited half an hour for appointments later in the day.

I have been receiving the same exact psychiatric medication prescriptions under Dr. Mehdi's name for the past two years and never met him once. The clinic is pretty sketchy--looks like a front, nothing seems permanent. The NPs who have seen me do not seem to understand American culture (or the concept of queerness). They are brief and just want to get you out the door, barely checking in before prescribing the same thing as always. More than once the office hasn't returned my phone calls, and the receptionists always seem kind of sad. Would not recommend Dr. Mehdi's practice, especially for LGBTQ folks. I honestly think it's a scam.

I felt Dr. Mehdi was very judgmental and very critical did not treat me as a human being honestly he was really not that nice at the end he was kind of nice but the type of medicine he put me on didn't even make sense with the condition I have I would not recommend him and I will not go back to see him
