Dr. Nyce is why we have answers today. Insurance denied the extra testing he recommended and Dr. Nyce & staff FOUGHT for it. I could not be more grateful for him. If you need to see a neurologist, stop wasting time and go see him now.

So So
Do doctors who specialize in a field of medicine become so fixated on the symtoms of their specialty that they don’t recognize symptoms of other issues? Nyce admitted he had no idea what was causing the symptoms I was originally referred to him for, and just couldn’t understand my fatigue and unexplained weight loss. After he strung me along for six months without accomplishing anything a General Practitioner pointed out the fatigue and weight loss, plus some negatives on my blood profile, could be symptoms of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and ordered more tests. Unfortunately, she was right. I anticipate surviving, but if Nyce had been more knowledgeable and aggressive in pursuing my symptoms, treatment for the lymphoma could have begun 6 months sooner. He’s a nice guy, and I assume he’s reasonably proficient in his specialty, but from my experience I have to give him one star.
