Dr. C diagnosed my daughter's incredibly rare condition after 20+ years of repeated testing coming back negative. He just kept digging and didn't give up on us, even after other docs had. He's brilliant and determined. He lets you ask as many questions as you want, and explains everything! He's also incredibly connected and keeps up-to-date with his colleagues all over the world. He changed our lives...cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Coffman, he's the best you will ever find!

After raising four other daughters, we knew there was something wrong with our infant daughter shortly after she was born, but no one would listen to us until we took her to Dr. Coffman at Children's Mercy in KC, MO. (He is no longer in Pittsburgh). For the first time in 11 months, he was the first to listen to all we had to say then actually asked us what we thought was wrong. She had an MRI immediately and received a diagnosis the same day. Thank you, Dr. Coffman! Have praised him to many!

Dr. Coffman has been our saving grace. We have seen so many doctors, that I was to the point of giving up. Dr. Coffman listens to all my questions and concerns, and takes the time to address them all. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is great with my son. We have been so lucky to have him as our son's doctor. I can't rave enough about him.
