First POEM procedure was great but a follow up while doing an endoscopy caused bleeding in my esophagus so immediately after discharge had to go Hackensack Medical Center for getting a transfusion and tube feeding for 2 weeks before discharge from Hackensack. Thankfully I am in good shape 6 months later.

Dr Grossman saved my Life! No one could find out what was wrong, I had been to a few GI dr’s. I was in constant pain and losing weight! Dr Grossman found a Psuedo~cyst on my Pancreas and went into immediate action. I’m a bad patient, but Dr Grossman had patience with me every step of the way.

Dr. Matthew Grossman is an outstanding doctor I’ve ever met in my life I’ve been having swallowing problems. He explain to me details by detail how to help me and what procedure he recommends I must say he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed with his knowledge and care. Never rushed me took his time in the office for like 45 minutes. Incredible. That’s all I have to say this man is unbelievably great. I highly recommend anyone having any kind of swallowing problems go see Dr. Matthew Grossman. He is the best doctor in the world.

Dr Grossman resected a tumor from my small intestine. He saved my life and spared me a surgery. Amazing doc! Truly gifted. Excellent bedside manner.

I do not want to trash Dr. Grossman because I’m sure he has helped many of his patients, but my family’s experience with him turned into a nightmare. My grandmother went to have a colonoscopy with him where he tried putting a stent in. He had trouble, tried a few times and ruptured her colon. She had to have emergency surgery afterwards. Long story short my beloved grandmother lost her life after a horrible 3 weeks in the hospital. I do not place the blame on Dr. Grossman alone, a lot happened along the way, but that’s where it all started. This review is only meant to make people take precautions when selecting their doctor. I see a lot of positive reviews and that’s great. I’m happy he’s helped so many people. That’s just not the experience my family had.

Amazing GI Doctor, great bedside manner, very knowledgeable in his specialty, funny and has a wonderful personality.

Dr Grossman is a wonderful doctor. He gave me the best care possible., He saved me from Having major surgery and because of him I had a wonderful outcome. I can’t say enough about his wonderful bedside manner and caring attitude.. it is so rare to find a doctor who has the the knowledge and skills he possesses and also has such a great personality. Dr Grossman is extremely competent and has great bedside manners. He took the time to explain everything without talking down to me. He is a true gem in a sea of semi precious rocks.
