Dr. Matthew Geck, MD

He was very prompt & attentive of my medical needs. His medical team is superb & responds immediately which to me makes is extremely important. I understand my surgeon is with patients but it’s important to get answers as quickly as possible in my world when I have so many moving parts to deal with & it seems like what I have is evolving daily. He has an incredible surgical team that was eases you into the process & guides you every step of the way. As for Dr. Geck you are only as good as the people you surround with & who support you & have your back. He is excellent at explaining everything, & made me feel very comfortable. I used to be 5’7 now I am 5’3” from these various diseases I have. I don’t feel very attractive & in the eyes of my those around me given what is occurring to me. But he seemed so unfazed by it & gave me HOPE!

I was referred to Dr. Geck from my doctor in San Antonio. I was able to get in to see him within 2 weeks. Dr. Geck was extremely informative and answered all our questions about my severe scoliosis and how he could fix me. He wants to get the best outcome post surgery so ensures you are in the best health possible prior to surgery. It makes a lot of sense! So less downtime after surgery. I am so glad I saw him. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to having surgery.

The staff was friendly, efficient, and very thorough. My appointment was right on time. When Dr. Geck came in he proceeded with a detailed assessment of my full spinal X-rays. He had a plan, offered his opinion and answered all of my questions. He must have spent 30 minutes with me. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I had seen two other surgeons who said they could not help me before I saw Dr Geck. From the start Dr Geck and his Staff were amazing. They explained all my options. I have had two huge spinal surgeries with Dr Geck. I am completely satisfied with the final results. My quality of life is tremendously improved !

Dr. Geck was recommended to me by my orthopedic doctor. I have now had two spinal surgeries with Dr. Geck and I highly recommend him and his staff! Dr. Geck is a gifted surgeon who is very meticulous. He and his PAs are professional and caring. They do everything possible to ensure the surgery goes well and is successful. I will only use Dr. Geck should I need any future back surgeries!

Dr Matthew Geck is a life saver! He and his staff are compassionate and caring during every phase of your care. You can search for another surgeon with his skills but every search will lead you back to Dr. Geck for his exceptional talent as a surgeon.

I haven't seen him in about 20 years because he did such a great job on my cervical and lumbar spine stenosis and all the hardware. I have nearly complete range of motion and no pain in those particular areas anymore. I have new areas breaking down and will see one of his colleagues as it promises to not be as difficult to correct.

Dr. Geck is absolutely the BEST. I have had 3 surgeries due to scoliosis. He is very personal and considerate. Yes, he is busy and many tests are required before actual surgery, but this is all for the best outcome. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I was very impressed with my initial appt! After being pulled back, had X-rays completed then the PA came in to do a hands on assessment then explained she was to go over this with Dr Geck then he would come in with a game plan. When Dr Geck came in he did his own assessment then went over in detail his game plan, answering all questions. Very impressed with him and his office staff.
