Arrogant and cruel. A big no from me.

Post Op Considerations
I contacted the doctor's office with post op pain and physical concerns 1 week after procedure and casting. At the next follow up, the doctor admitted to me in person that he received the message and chose to ignore my concerns for an entire week. He then ordered tests for me without informing me why he ordered them leaving me guessing. When the results were read, he made no attempt to contact me and explain anything. His office staff does not answer the phone and they provide generic answers in most secure messages. The staff is more reactive than proactive.

He was thorough and looked me directly in the eyes when he spoke. He said that that I had to have surgery due to having arthritis and bone on bone on my right big toe. I am scheduled for surgery, but I am nervous about using a knee scooter at work, but I’m going to do it so it does not get worse. He seems clean and professional.

Had suffered for many years with a badly broken and crooked big toe. To make matters worse as I got older I developed Gout and it was primarily in the defective toe. In the past I had a doctor say that the surgery required to repair the toe was extremely painful and i would be unable to work for a good while. Therefore I put it off over and over while the pain and inability to get a good fit on my shoes continued. To make a long story short, Dr DeZurick did a fusion and completely repaired my toe. I no longer have pain from the toe or suffer from Plantar Faceotis caused by favoring that foot. Needless to say I yjhink Dr DeZurick is outstanding!

After 1 basic urgent care, 2 ortho urgent cares, and 2 ortho specialists, I finally saw Dr Dzurik who took the time to observe, ask questions, and thoroughly examine my foot and the area of pain. He looked me in the eye when he spoke, was not rushed, and treated me with respect. He gave me a shot for the injured nerve, and I can walk on my foot after months of agony. I am thankful for his time, expertise, skill, and treatment and would highly recommend him.

Dr Dzurik correctly diagnosed a Mortons Neuroma after a previous doc had said my foot pain was caused by my bunion. I persisted with the pain for two years after the original diagnosis but it became too hard to walk any distance so I went to Dr Dzurik for a second opinion. After stretching exercises and a couple of steroid injections we decided to surgically removeo the neuroma. The surgery went well, staff was great and after a 2-3 weeks I was walking & after 6 weeks -hiking! Great experience.

I am a diabetic and had an ulcer on my toe. He did not realize the infection went down to the bone and did not order a test to see how far the infection was. I went to another podiatrist and he ordered a test and the results was the infection went down to the bone. I ended up having half my toe amputated. We caught it on time so they infection did not spread~!
