My experience with Dr. Chin over the last 2 years has been horrible. I just found out by getting copies of all my colonoscopies three to be exact in the last two years he did not give me all the information and that he lied to me about what happened after a severe bleed after a colonoscopy in November 2017. When I would ask for explanations and was concerned about precancerous polyps he would down play it and say they are no big deal and say I am over reacting. Well just copy of all my records from John Muir and caught him in many lies. I actually thought maybe I was remembering things wrong but records I just received proved I was remembering everyhting correctly and he was lying. Can't beleive I was wasted two years with this doctor. Advise all not to go to this doctor he is very arrogant and does follow up or care.

I have to say Dr Chin is the best GI doctors I have seen so far. I was admitted to John Muir ER due to dehydration and stomach pain. This is where I met Dr Chin the first time. I am very impressed with his determination on finding the cause of the issue. He is very much spot on the issue with the first visit. The complex ERCP procedure went through very nicely. It not only removed bile duct stones but also prevent future issues. I would highly recommend Dr Chin if you are looking for GI doctor.

Very textbook md. I had a review from Stanford and negated the diagnosis. He lacks real experience and is relying on his textbook knowledge. I challenged him on a couple of symptoms and how to use PPI as when I went to Stanford that is what they recommended. He gave a lame answer. He is also somewhat defense when challenged with questions left and right. He is very Inexperienced and I did not return. One of the worst MD conservations.
