Dr. Mary Black, MD

Dr Black not only took the time to listen she did everything possible to fix the problem. I've never left her office without answers. Many surgeries from having both ac joints cleaned bc of arthritis, repairing a bicep and rotator cuff, repairing ulnar nerves in my elbows now I'm seeing her for a bad knee. Needless to say every procedure she has done or treated me for over last 10 years I've had no more issues with that particular area. When I went to er a year ago with a dislocated shoulder and a break from a fall, the er doctor told me he was gonna send me to a orthopedic Dr I told him if he couldn't send me to her office I'd pass. But he knew exactly who she was and she and earl fixed me up. I wish all my doctors were as professional and on point as she is. Thank you Dr black

I was treated for a frozen shoulder, I had been in pain for an extended period of time. She fixed me up in one visit. A couple of years after this I started having trouble with my other shoulder and i went back. Unfortunately this was not a frozen shoulder but an arthritic bone spur. Dr Black did my surgery and everything went wonderful (which is not my luck). Office is professional and courteous, her physician assistant is wonderful as well. I highly recommend if you have any shoulder issues, which is what she specializes in .

The staff at CONA are top-notch! Dr. Mary Black is an amazing surgeon and Earl Laseter, the PA-C is definitely a great addition to her team. After my surgery, Earl was always prompt to address my needs and his character always cheered me up. Overall, I would give CONA 10 stars of I could. Not only did they help me walk again, the attention and care of this facility made my experience a beautiful one. Thanks CONA, thanks Dr. Black and thanks Earl!

Dr. Black has done work on both my wife and myself. We could not recommend her highly enough. Awesome surgeon-actually takes time to explain what is wrong and what needs to be done. After my surgery she went over everything that was done in surgery. Very personable, caring and respectful. Her nurse Kim has a great sense of humor puts you at ease right off the bat. Earl, Dr. Blacks PA takes the time to explain things in terms we could understand. We just wish she could also be our primary physician!!!

Short wait time to be seen. Doctor listens and ask for any questions, and the staff was so pleasant and helpful with all my needs. We looked in each other’s eyes as we talked.

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Black. She gave me conservative treatment , but went over all other options for the long term. Very nice and personable. Didn't wait long and got excellent treatment. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Black was friendly and very knowledgable. I had several physicians examine my shoulder without success of pinpointing the issue. After three full rounds (not sessions) of PT, the pain was worsening. Dr. Black was patient and thorough and was able to locate the exact spot that was causing so much trouble. Through I hope surgery isn't required (rexent MRI result is pending), I am thankful to have found an expert in this field.
