She is a Doctor that makes you feel comfortable and at ease with each interaction. Appointments are easy to make and waiting time is practically minutes. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff.

Dr. Shiels is new to the Northdale Area. She is thorough, very knowledgeable, very caring and very easy to talk to. I am very glad that she is my physician. I feel I am in good hands under her care.

I have been looking for a doctor that makes me feel like a person with feelings and concerns. Dr. Sheils is everything I have been looking for in a physician. It is obvious she cares. She listens carefully to my concerns and doesn't dismiss a single one . She addresses each of my issues and helps me with as much as she can or gets me to a specialist that can. She is to the point, which is really what we all need. I would recommend her.

Very arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional Doctor and office manager Lisa K. This office is logistically incompetent and have no care to fix any of these issues. Their phones seem to go on the fritz on a regular basis and their call center will hang up on you if they feel bothered in the least bit. When I finally got to speak to the office manager Lisa K. she told me that I was the person causing the problems and that I am an a-- and if I dont like their incompetence that I can find a new doctor, 5 days later I went in person for an office visit and it went just fine the doctor was her regular pretentious self and I paid and left without any issues. Since then I have called several times to refill scripts and the other staff were very friendly and professional. That was until today when I called in a script for a med that will make me sick if I run out and they told me that I was no longer their patient. As a new patient with a complex medical history, Dr. Sheils instantly put both my husband (the patient this time) and I (his 19 year caregiver) at ease with her genuine concern, personal warmth and depth of medical knowledge and experience. All questions were answered to our full satisfaction, with no rush, making certain we understood everything. Dr. Sheils' medical recommendations were all encompassing and holistic, not just treating the immediate presenting complaint. She actually 'listens' to the patient AND caregiver, fully respecting us both, while simultaneously managing and respecting the time of the next patient. Dr. Sheils is a cut above and as a result I too am transferring to her care. We are blessed to have her on our medical team and are truly grateful for the service and peace of mind received. Not only is Dr. Sheils exceptional, she has surrounded herself with office and support staff of the same superior caliber. Couldn't be happier!

She's an absolutely horrible doctor who's rude, self-serving and doesn't listen. She only cares about making money, covering her own backside, and doesn't care about patients. She'll make you come in and pay for a visit only then to tell you she won't fill your prescriptions any longer and refers you to a specialist. If you're looking to waste money by paying for an appointment to hear about everything she WON'T do, then she's your doc.

Great if you have a splinter, but don't have anything remotely complicated that requires your file to be read, unless you want to be shamed for seeking medical care.

Dr. Sheils was kind, caring and very thorough. She explained in detail my lab work so I was able to completely understand the “what” & “why” with ease. This office is clean, professional & moves quickly.

Terrible she is rude and accusatory. Which shows me she didn't take time to read my file, she only researched my medications, then assumed she knew exactly what was wrong with me. Yelled at me for not having a job at nearly 69 years old. Horrible bedside manners Mean spirited I will not return

If she could receive 0 stars I would. The WORST bedside manner I have ever seen and I work in healthcare. I first came to her and although she was upfront which can appreciated , the way she goes about it is very very rude. Instead of listening to you and being an advocate for you she will tell you that you are wrong ( like you don't know what has been going on with you ) . You have no voice and appear "dumb". I went on my first appointment with Dr Sheils and gave her my current prescription medications. I brought all my medication bottles with me and let her know what I was currently on. Mainly cholesterol medication, allergy medication, and thyroid medication. After my visit, none of my medications were faxed to the pharmacy. When I called the office and talked with her nurse, she screamed at me and said”who wrote those prescriptions?” I have changed Doctors. Don’t waste your time.

Dr Sheils is the best!

I am a physician & Christian myself. I scheduled an appointment at this office one month ago. It is extremely difficult for me to get off of my job for personal care, I finally decided to take a “wellness” day for self-care and got it approved through my job. My appointment was inadvertently cancelled by a staff member in her office. When I voiced frustration regarding my appointment cancellation, I was told by Dr. Sheils nurse, Denise, that I would not be seen at their clinic indefinitely.

She saved my life 6 years ago and I trust her completely however I more then likely drive her crazy.

I went to this doctor for several medical issues and one of her responses was What do you want me do to do about it? She is the doctor not me, I came to her for answers and she dismissed everything I had to say. She even rolled her eyes and laughed at my concerns. For the first time in my life I walked out of this appointment before it was over. I would NEVER recommend her to ANYONE!!!!
