Worst physician experience
My daughter broke her humerus. Dr Sinclair saw us for our first follow up in clinic after the break. He was not interested in answering questions, he came off very annoyed with anything I had to say about wanting to know the plan moving forward. My daughter had radial nerve palsy, which was a major concern for me, but Dr Sinclair was extremely dismissive about it. He gave us ZERO warning on the casting process, which was the most traumatic experience of this whole thing for my daughter. More so than falling off the horse and breaking her arm! It was incredibly painful and scary for my daughter. We had no warning on what to expect in that moment. My daughter is tough, very tough. But she was screaming and crying so much so that they closed the door in the middle of the process. I will never see him again or let him touch my daughter again. I think it’s time for retirement for him.

We appreciated Dr. Sinclair's bedside manner & disposition. But I am posting this for those in the CLUBFOOT population to please beware. Dr. Sinclair gets pretty good reviews for his CF care, but CF parents, please do take your child elsewhere. Our daughter received improper Ponseti technique &as she grew Dr. Sinclair missed some cues that she was relapsing. Lack of concern shown for a worsening cavus foot, lack of concern for toe-walking giving it the misnomer "idiopathic toe-walking of childhood" when short, tight Achilles tendons are a primary condition and concern in the child with clubfoot; toe-walking an early indication of tightening. Did not want to try serial stretching casts, PT or other early intervention. Stopped nighttime boot and bar bracing far too early. We got a second opinion with a more experienced physician, and our daughter indeed had relapsed (as we suspected), and needed bilateral tendon transfer (which includes Achilles' lengthening) and soft-tissue release.

I was a patient of Dr. Sinclair years ago when he practiced in Orlando, Florida. I have osteogensis imperfecta and Dr. Sinclair performed several of my surgeries. He did a wonderful job on all of them. He performed my last surgery in 2000 and I haven't had complications since then. Although I was child when I was his patient, I remember him being such a kind man and doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
