My right knee was close to useless. Alot of pain. Could not ride bicycle, no tennis, no hiking. After X-Rays he concluded I needed full knee replacements on BOTH knees. I did the right one in August 2023. It is now 16 months later. The knee does work and I can function again. But it cracks and pops ALL THE TIME. It is ALWAYS uncomfortable and stiff. I was diligent about the post-op therapy. I did everything and then some. I still stretch and ride an exercise bike everyday to keep it loose. My left knee was scheduled for November of 2023. It is now Dec 2025 and my left knee is still just fine. THANK GOD I cancelled that surgery. I went back telling him the problems three times and each time all I got was... sometimes this happens. He did say that operating again and installing a larger plastic piece might help. I did more PT which did nothing. Currently looking for a new surgeon to evaluate what went wrong and to use when it does come time for my left knee.

It is impossible to reach any of the staff at this office! No one answers the phone or responds to the messaging option on the portal. I recently had an MRI of my knee and no one has gotten back to me with the results. It's been an entire week. I am definitely considering taking my records to another doctor. It's obvious that this practice doesn't care about their patients.

When I started having persistent pain in my right hip about a year ago, I went to Ridgewood Orthopedic Group because I was recommended that this place was one of the best in New Jersey. A friend of mine was operated on a few years ago, he had a total hip replacement, after which he returned to normal activities and work, he was very satisfied, so I chose the same center and the same doctor Pizzurro. Three months have passed since my surgery, everything is back to normal, I am very satisfied with the surgery, I have no complications, no pain and the mobility of the joint is practically the same as that of a healthy joint. Five stars, I definitely recommend this place, Best in New Jersey.

Several years after multiple surgeries to replace kneecap, and after years of pain and suffering, another orthopedist had to operate on my wife's knee due to infection. When he opened her up, he found plastic fragments left behind from Dr. Pizzurro's procedures.

Dr Mark Pizzurro was beyond friendly, informative and listened to me, answering all and any questions I had. He was able to show me pictures and information to explain procedures.His very cheerful manner helped me to relax and I felt very comfortable.The rest of the staff from front desk to the nurses were wonderfully helpful, polite and welcoming.
