My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Mark for over 13 years! He is one of the kindest people I have met and takes his time to listen to you. His staff is very helpful too! I would highly recommend Dr. Mark to anyone.

My specialist referred me to Mark, but when I called to schedule an appointment the receptionist had an arrogant tone and said the doctor is not taking on any new patients. He knows my doctor well and doesn't make any exceptions. REALLY?

Overall great care. Dr. McMurtrey is always kind, patient, and thoughtful with my children. I feel respected as a parent and have full confidence in his judgment. The office is able to get us seen and responds to calls in a very timely manner.

Amazing office staff and Dr. He takes time to talk to you and really listens to you. I have never waiting more then 5 minutes for him. His staff works really hard to try to fit you in when you need it. And works with the urgent care there to help you if needed.

Dr. McMurtrey is one of the professional and thorough doctors I've ever seen. I've seen him for many factors going back to his days in Winfield, IN and now his facility in Valparaiso, IN. He's friendly and a complete gentlemen each and every time. I highly recommend him to everyone

Our entire family sees Dr. McMurtrey. He was the first doctor my husband actually liked and would go to. He's fabulous with my five year old and has seen our six month old since she was a few days old. He is thorough, but not an alarmist. He listens intently and clearly cares for his patients. He's straightforward and explains things well without making you feel stupid. I sing his praises to everyone asking about a doctor. We are so thankful to have found him!

I have been going to Dr. McMurtrey for 10 years or so and am so happy with him and his staff. So easy to talk to and down to earth. Wish all Dr's were like him!

Needed a GP. Went to McMurtrey, he took one look at a sore on my forehead and told me I had Basal Cell Carcinoma skin CANCER! He did No test, No Biopsy! I went to Dermalologist ASAP,NO Skin Cancer. McMutrey telling me I had skin Cancer, was completely unprofessional , HURTFULL , as a Breast Cancer survivor, I can say he should be disbarred!! Shame On Him!!

We went to him for over ten years when he was based in the Crown Point area. We cannot find the words to describe how we felt about him. His thorough efforts resulted in my husband having a life-saving SIX BYPASS surgery that surely saved his life. He is a personable and very caring doctor and we have recommended many people to him. We eventually moved out of the area and were gone for six years, but we still miss him. We've moved back to Indiana and look forward to making contact with him.

He takes his time with you. Listens as well as asks questions. Very nice and easy to talk to.

An amazing doctor, he is very good about answering all your questions and never rushing. If your child is sick he will always see them that day even if he has to triple book appointments and even then there is never a long wait.
