Dr. Mark Mandell-Brown, MD

Dr. Mandell-Brown does not give you false hopes or expectations. He will tell you what he can do, then do it and the results are magical. That was my experience. What I appreciate about him is that he is a proponent of the natural look. If you want one of those Hollywood pulled too tight procedures or want to end up looking like a cat woman, this is not the doctor for you. I had results in line with my expectations and minimal discomfort. I was able to return to a regular life after a week. People didn't know that I had a facelift but they noticed something. Friends commented that I looked refreshed or asked if I had lost weight. The office staff is attentive and the operating rooms are state-of-the-art, having just been remodeled. Dr. Mandell-Brown is always reachable and has a great bedside manner. I can't say enough good things about him.

Facelift nightmare. Doctor Mandell-Brown performed my facelift and when he took off the bandages underneath my chin looked deformed. He agreed it needed to be fixed and said he would do a revision. I was to be awake and he was going to make another incision vertically. I wanted him to use the same incision but he said he could not. I asked him how long the incision would be and he said maybe an inch or longer he couldn’t tell me. I would have a scar underneath my chin that resembled a “T”. I went to another plastic surgeon for a consultation. He was appalled that doctor brown wouldn’t use the same incision. He told me he could do the revision using the same incision, so I would only have one scar instead of two. I had to pay 1500 for this to be done.

I got my surgery March of 2022. I wanted a breast reduction lift and lipo to my flanks and injected into my hips. I previously had implants I had 450cc which brought me to a 34DDD, I told Dr Mandell t to go down to a small DD mainly because of back pain. After my surgery I was obviously swollen but they really didn't look much smaller. He switched my implants from 450cc to 350cc, after my 3 month follow-up, they still wasn't smaller and so he said come back in a few more months and see what they look like. I go back 6 months after my surgery and I am still fitting into the same bra's I had before my surgery which are 34DDD's. I explain to him the frustration. About still being a large DDD when I asked for DD then he informed me that he SHOULDN'T have put in a new implant and just took out my implants and used a mess for the tissue. I was upset, frustrated, and mad I spent over $15,000 on breast i already had! the only thing his was relocated my nipples and did liposuction and a fat tra

I am so happy that I selected Dr. Mandell-Brown for my blepharoplasty procedure! I am very pleased with the results and I'm only two weeks out! The staff is amazing! I would recommend Dr. Mandell-Brown and his practice to anyone considering this eyelid surgery!

His staff is knowledgeable and informed me of all options for my concerns. I felt well prepared for my surgery and well cared for. This is my second procedure at his surgery center and both results are so exciting. I love how natural the results are and the minimal scaring.

I cannot say enough about Dr Mandell-Brown and our wonderful experience! We took our 17 y.o. daughter to Dr Mandell-Brown for rhinoplasty so we were extremely nervous about the procedure. I had my first saline breast augmentation done by a different surgeon in Texas, and after 11 years of having them, one ruptured. I have been living in the Cincinnati area for the last decade and returning to Texas for revision was unreasonable so I looked for a surgeon locally to remove and replace my implants. I made 3 different consultations for the same week with separate surgeons… the first of which was Dr. M-B. After my consult with him I ended up canceling my other two because I was confident in Dr. M-Bs ability to do the surgery with desirable results and his bedside manner was unmatched. He made me feel very comfortable and spent a lot of time with me during the consult. I am a few days post-op and I am not only satisfied with the results but am very pleased with the follow up from both Dr. M-B and his team. They have called almost every day post-op to check on me and Dr. M-B has personally called and texted to see how I was doing. Best in class customer service and results!

I am very happy with the results from my surgery 3 weeks ago. I had a mid face lift and CO2 laser treatment on several areas on my face. The results have been amazing! I have shown my before pictures to many of my friends and when they look at me now, they tell me I look 20 years younger. I have never had a defined jawline and now I do! I wanted to do something nice for myself and I am so happy that I did.

Please, be careful when selecting your doctor. I am scheduled for my corrective surgery at the end of this year. I am 6 months post operation and the scars are still visible even with clothing. No amount of time or reduction of swelling will improve the situation. I have consulted a few doctors and many have said they have had to correct his work in the past. Ask other doctors before choosing Dr. Mandell. I wish you well in your journey to be a better, happier you. Do not make the same mistake I did.

I had a tummy tuck back in March after significant weight loss. A lot of my swelling has since subsided, I’m no longer wearing the compression garment, I’m able to exercise normally, etc. I feel like I’m at a good spot in my recovery to not only be objective about my experience with Doctor Mandell-Brown and his office, but to also say whether I’m personally satisfied with the results. This procedure has fundamentally improved my life. Doctor Mandell-Brown delivered exactly what he said he would deliver during my consult. Both he and Doctor Cardoso have a tremendous bedside manner. I felt comfortable with and cared for by all the medical professionals and staff throughout, as well. To Ann, Hedy, Michelle, and everyone else in the office or who assisted on my surgery—thank you. Every day my swelling lessens, my scar lightens, and I become even more convinced that going with Doctor Mandell-Brown was the best decision I could have made. I paid a premium, and I received a premium result.

Great staff

In early December of 2019 I had an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, and liposuction to the flanks and mons. I had weight loss surgery in 2017 and had A LOT of excess skin due to so much weight loss. I had so much skin hanging from my stomach and lower abdomen area that no only was it humilating, but it was limiting what I could do. I had the best textbook surgery ever; and the recovery was a breeze! He removed almost ten pounds of excess skin, and I have a flat tummy and no hangover in my lower abdomen area. Im still healing, as Im only six months out, but its already amazing!!! Zero complications, and Dr. Mandell Brown and his staff were wonderful!!! I went to him because he did several of my grandmother's face lifts over the years, and everyone thought she was twenty years younger than she ever was! I was not dissapointed!!!

I had a mid-face-lift and chemical peel to tighten my jaw line and smooth my skin. Dr. Mandell-Brown and staff did an awesome job and I am very happy with the results. Very natural look.

I feel after paying a premium for best scenario outcome, I was left with substandard results. I was misguided at my consultation and I will in fact will have to undergo revision surgery , by another plastic surgeon, to correct the issues. It is recommended I receive a full tummy tuck at my financial expense. I do not recommend Dr. Mandell-Brown for any surgical procedure. I implore you to look elsewhere. Cosmetic surgeries are costly; to have to have revision surgery and the thought to undergo the pain again, has brought me much emotional turmoil and distress. I do not wish this to happen to anyone else. I will note that his staff is amazing and hence the one star. Hedy, Ann (the nurse), and Dr. Ordozo have been great through this whole processes. I commend them on their knowledge in their specific fields and the compassion they show their clients.

You've heard of thee Dr. Mandell-Brown on the radio, on billboards passing by, friends/family that have had services at the Surgery Center. I also can say I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mandell-Brown and have nothing, but positive things to say. I did my research despite hearing the positive things. He is TRIPLE board certified, and really knows his field. He continues his education, and his staff is nothing short of AMAZING. I was nervous until my consultation; right away walking into the welcoming office it started to dissipate. After my consultation, I was prepared & confident this was the office. After my surgery he follows up within ONE day, then ONE week, followed by 2-3 weeks out. I'm at 4 weeks out, my scars are minuscule which I thought would be impossible. He is a Very nice and friendly doctor . His prices to remove moles is very reasonable. He only charged me to remove one mole and removed two more for free. That was awesome. I will be going back to him in the future.
