Dr. Mark Davenport, MD

Dr. Davenport became my doctor several years ago after my beloved doctor retired. Dr. Davenport provides reasonable care. Though more recently, it feels as though he consistently refers me to a specialist instead of treating me himself.

This office is a JOKE....My father was seen in FEB we were waiting on 2 referals I had to call EVERY 2 WEEKS to see if it got approved they dropped the ball so many times my father just got one of the referals last month and then I called today they had the other referal for 3 wks!!!! no one called nothing was sent in the mail nothing my father is very ill and they dont care they dont do thier jobs at all I have spoken to all the managers and they lie saying they will fix this mess and never did ANYTHING to fix it. FIND ANOTHER DR>>YOU WILL NOT GT HELP!!!!! You are just a meal ticket to them.....

Dr Mark Davenport has been my trusted doctor for over 15 years. My last Telehealth visit was January-2021, I was suffering from excruciating pain on my left arm for two months, had not schedule a visit due to fear of needing x-rays n getting exposed to COVID-19 He knew right away what the problem was, (no x-rays needed) prescribed the right treatment and 2-days later I am able to hold my phone to type this review. My husband and I trust Dr Davenport with our health, his experience and caring attitude makes him a one of a kind doctor choosing him as our primary care Dr is one of the best decisions we made.

Dr.Davenport was the worst experience I ever had. At St.Jude Hospital I gave birth to a baby girl weighed 10pds 3oz on April 18th 1994. He waz the Dr on call he never gave me a episiotomy .So we all know what happened then 3rd degree tear. He should have called a specialist to stitch me because his lack of skills my stitches came out 10 days later nothing had even started to heal. That was a botched job I will never forget what i went through because of u.2 yrs later had it fixed by real Dr.

I read the three other reviews and I too, think he is a bit stand-off-ish. I have witnessed his looking at the computer while he's talking to you. However, I think Dr. Davenport is a very good doctor. He may be a bit shy and you need to be very direct with him in order for him to fully check out what's bothering you. Don't let him leave you without going over everything. I suggest bringing a list & confront him with this and he'll give you his best. He's a good man.

I've had two doctors my entire life. After moving across country and finding this one to have a new one I am really surprised. He lasted a total of 5 months but I should have just found another after the first visit. The doctor could barely break eye contact from his phone and computer monitor. His nurse did not do the followup appointment for the surgeon but say they did even after I had to make it. This Dr and his nurse do not prioritize health of patients. Look elsewhere for your own good.

Father just got out of the hospital and had a followup appt with Dr Davenport. He did not examine my father and said what do you want me to do. Not even aware my dad has a cardiac condition despite having all of his records. Sloppy, arrogant, and useless doctor who needs to retire.

Very arrogant and does not listen to the patient's needs. It's very hard to get a referal from him to see a specialist because he will just wave off your concerns most of the time. He needs to realize he doesn't know everything.
