After reading the reviews from 2023 to current it sounds like an investigation needs to be taken place. Why would anyone recommend a doctor with these kind of reviews?

He is dismissive and non-attentive to patient needs at the very least he is lazy and I wouldn't let him touch my dog's teeth. Nice staff though

Failed Tooth Extraction - Post Op Failures
Tooth extraction of large upper-left molar on March 7, 2024. Dr. Bufalini left an entire root in, other pieces, packed it all together, broke my face (maxillary fracture), and broke my sinus (large Antral-Oral Communication (AOC)), which resulted in a very serious bacterial infection, swollen face, left eye (blurry vision), and an absolute nightmare of an experience. When I went back to him with my original complaints, him and his equally arrogant, childish staff balked at the idea of there being any issues, and, worse yet, refused to take a simple x-ray to confirm.Instead, another week went by and I ended up at the Naval hospital. I've been trying to get his mistake fixed by another dentist and ENT specialist, but his office is ignoring my communications, specifically, he is hiding his insurance information. I am in extraordinary pain and can’t drink anything without it coming out of my nose and affecting my breathing.Think twice before seeing this arrogant reckless God-like Dr.

Horrible
If a zero star were possible, that’s what I would leave. He and his office staff have no empathy or compassion for their patients. My son had his wisdom teeth out 4 days ago. His pain is unmanageable. I have called every day, with no help. I am a RN and know that there are many medications out to help. However, he would NOT even consider changing his pain medication! How can you just expect a teenage patient to suffer? This is unacceptable. I will be calling my insurance company and the medical board. A doctor/dentist takes a medical oath in this profession of health care. If you do NOT care about your patients, then choose another job!

Pulled the wrong tooth
Dr Bufalini extracted the wrong tooth. He never double checked my xrays nor examined me prior to the extraction. He entered the procedure room, rushed through the procedure explanation after I was already under the influence of nitrous oxide, and to the best of my knowledge, never reviewed the xrays from my referring dentist. I am now facing a tooth extraction procedure for the impacted tooth and two dental implants to correct this error.

What a Fantastic Doc and Staff. They will go out of their way, out of the gate to help with Patient Needs. I was standing in line at Walmart and happened to be next to a gentleman who was coincidentally was a patient of Dr. Bufalini's. He said he and his family had had extractions and followup care from the Doctor and was 110% satisfied. I concur. Jacksonville Patient.

New resident of NC and was referred to Dr. Bufalini for tooth extraction and implant. Best tip I ever received! He was wonderful in terms of skill and personality. Everything went great both during surgery and post op care and healing. And his staff is just as amazing. I highly recommend him! Prices are reasonable and he works with every dental insurance out there! - CB
