I trust Dr. W with my life, literally.
Dr. W has been my cardiologist for 6 years. I respect his skill, and the other doctors in the clinic, having worked at Sharp Chula Vista Med Center over 10 years. I too, was very disappointed with the staff, but am happy to report they are improving. I think that as a new provider, he had difficulty finding a solid bi-lingual staff. They have been really working to regain our trust.

When I started to see him he was very attentive but seems to have changed. Now I see his NP who has been a different person in my last two visits? After monitoring at home with the Holder Monitor the NP a new NP said there was no record of results in my file. I am 88 and have been treated or monitored for irregular heart beat involving the left ventricle. No treatment is given for this. I continue to be prescribed Norvasc generic for hypertension which I have had for .more than 25 plus years. I am not pleased with current practices under Dr Wysoczanski.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Wysoczanski's and am very impressed with his professionalism and his medical knowledge and expertise. Importantly, he took the time to get to know me as a person. I felt like he really listened to my priorities. Based on our conversation, he then recommended next steps that he believes are appropriate and clearly explained his reasons. Already, I have complete confidence entrusting my cardiac care to him.

My review primarily concerns The Heart & Wellness Ctr support staff. Comments about Dr W follow. This is the rudest, most unprofessional medical office staff I’ve ever experienced. Not once but twice they have put me on hold for 15-20 minutes. I have only once not been placed on hold for at least 5 minutes before the call was answered. In person the staff, with a couple of exceptions, are rude, do not listen, or give incorrect responses. I am changing MD because of staff.Dr W is a competent MD.

I have to say that I initially liked Dr Wysoczanski very much as he treated me in the hospital for. 2 ½ weeks before I was transferred to the cardiac unit at UCSD. But as an outpatient, not so much. I don’t find that he takes enough time to listen to my concerns or to answer questions.

Nice Doctor but inconsiderate staff. Not only are they not pleasant, they do not smile and most importantly, they do not give you their sole attention when you are speaking to them. This is did not only happen to my once but THREE times during my (very) last visit. I will be contacting my primary physician for another referral.
