Fantastic Doctor
The entire team was well organized, explained everything, and were welcoming. Dr. Heller answered all my questions, explained everything and just did a great job. I would definitely recommend her for anyone needing dermatology procedures.

Dr Heller drew a football shape on my leg...I asked if I could watch what she was doing she replied "no" I am in the medical field and wanted to see what she was doing since I was awake. She excised what was a wide excision surgical procedure for melanoma ....and left the room. I sat up and looked at my leg and had a golf ball a hair larger hole in my leg...no stiches just an open wound which looked like a crater...no explanation.wound care tech came in and bandaged me. She came in one last time and said "good luck"...no follow up...no phone call the day after...just a piece of paper with wound instructions. Very bad experience...I wish I had never gone there and will not be going back. Very unprofessional..to tell me one thing and then take out more on my leg with no explanation.....

Mohs surgery consult
“It is what it is” was Dr. Heller’s reply when I asked if she would need to remove part of my lip to remove the basal cell inside my top lip. She did not explain conditions I did not trust her decisions It was a horrible experience; I chose to go elsewhere. My family and I have been going to BI for several years but with the many inconsistencies and unprofessionalism, it's time to change.

I can honestly say that Dr. Heller has found her calling. She is very compassionate and completely concerned about her patient. She is as good as anyone can get. She will treat you as if her professional reputation depended on you having as good an outcome as nature will allow.

Dr Heller is a very skilled surgeon who is also extremely compassionate. She has performed 4 separate procedures on me over the last 10 years and the scars are minimal considering the fact that she had to remove extensive skin due to melanoma. I highly recommend her for dermatology needs.
