Does Not explain anything. Very poor bedside manner. No follow up after surgery. I do not recommend

Dr. Fajardo demonstrated knowledge and compassion and resolved my orthopedic problem. His PAs are also excellent. I have a friend who was recently treated by Dr. Fajardo, and he echoed my compliments above. Thank you, IBJI!

Broke my left wrist very badly while out of the US on April 27, 2024. Was set locally with a recommendation that i would likely need surgery. Dr. Fajardo performed my surgery on May 2nd. The break was all the way through the bone and in a few pieces. Dr. Fajardo put in a plate and 11 screws. The break was very close to the wrist so Dr. Fajardo had minimal room for the plate to attach. Now just slightly over 3 months after the surgery my arm is very nearly back to normal which i think is astounding. Dr. Fajardo did a marvelous job! Physical therapy did a great job as well. I am 62 years old and back to lifting heavy items. Can also do regular (hands on the floor, not on my knees) push ups which i didn't think would happen for many more months if ever. Have also been complimented by other doctors on the small scar. One doctor thought it was for carpal tunnel it was so clean and small. Couldn't recommend Dr. Fajardo any more highly!

My husband called Dr. Fajardo to schedule an appointment for our son, who had a sport injury, and he was able to be seen the same day. The experience of the visit from start to finish was excellent. Dr. Fajardo combined his expertise with patience and willingness to listen and discuss how to treat our son's injury at home for a comfortable yet fast recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Fajardo to anyone looking for a great orthopedic specialist.

Our son broke his wrist during his senior year hockey season. A different surgeon completed the initial surgery which was a complete failure and had to be totally redone six weeks later. Dr. Fajardo had the very difficult task of a complicated revision surgery to fix the first surgeon’s failure. His complex revision surgery was flawless. His follow-up care was equally flawless. He did take the time initially to talk about potential issues with a revision surgery but were not needed under his expert care. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fajardo and his team. His experience, expertise, and execution enabled the best results possible in a very difficult situation for us. Thank you, Dr. Fajardo and your team!

Excellent experience. Surgery of torn rotator cuff and bicep went better than expected, and with recommended PT I feel I'm progressing better than I thought I would.

Direct and clear; a very practiced, skilled surgeon. My son did not have any pain post-op and his broken wrist healed perfectly. The doctor's APP was very friendly and it was nice to have the same treatment team during the whole surgical process. The practice at Hinsdale Orthopaedics is very efficient and well run, and everyone we encountered seemed genuinely happy and/or friendly. Will be our first choice for any future ortho needs.

Dr. Fajardo operated on my hand for a trigger finger.

Saw me immediately, explained what my options were and what the best option was. He was courteous and answered any questions I had and made me feel at ease before surgery.

Dr. Fajardo is excellent. After an incorrect diagnosis of my shoulder pain at another provider, Dr. Fajardo was able to identify a torn labrum and performed very successful surgery. 4 months later, I'm healed and wrapping up PT. He's friendly, professional, and has a very helpful staff.

I injured my arm golfing and after a month or so and not getting better I called Dr M Fajardo at Hinsdale Orthopedics .Dr. Fajardo examined my arm and had me get a MRI . When he received the results he called me immediately and explained everything. I had torn my bicep tendon and needed surgery if I wanted to heal totally. He explained that if I opted for surgery I shouldn’t wait because the injury was over a month ago.After agreeing to surgery Dr Fajardo set it up for 2 days later.Surgery went well , the tendon had to be reattached to the bone with an anchor and “snap”. I’m now at 3 months post op ,still have a way to go but looking at full recovery. Dr Fajardo and all employees at Hinsdale Orthopedics were fantastic!! Recommend highly!! Thanks Dr Fajardo

I had a displaced spiral fracture of my mid to lower humerus. I saw Dr. Fajardo the morning after I left the ER, and he reviewed the x-rays with me while discussing treatment options, which in my case was pretty much only surgery. He explained how the operation would work, showed me slides from prior procedures, and answered questions I had. It was a holiday weekend, and the Dr. was ready to leave on vacation, but he did the surgery that evening. I've had no complications and the healing process is coming along well.

My appointments were prompt. His timeline for my recovery, was on target. He was concerned about my taking on tasks or exercises too soon. His staff was attentive and followed through on questions or concerns.

Dr. Fajardo was excellent. I broke my arm at my shoulder on my birthday. I saw Dr. Fajardo and he told me my options. I opted for shoulder surgery and physical therapy after. I have made a full recovery and have complete use of my arm. He and his team answered all of my questions and were very responsive to my needs. I highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance. He has a clever wit.

I sustained a badly broken hand from an accident at home not only was it broken I had 2 lacerated tendons. Dr Fajardo performed a complicated surgery at 9:00pm and it is a miracle that I have recovered 100% and have full use of my hand.highly recommend Dr Fajardo and his team they are the best.

Dr. Fajardo did miraculous surgery on my badly shattered forearm! Healed well, barely a scar! Highly recommend him.

I shattered my shoulder and Dr. Fajardo was my surgeon, and I was lucky he was my surgeon! I can not thank him enough! He fixed my shoulder after another surgeon said it was to messed up for him,and thankfully they got Dr. Fajardo he was fantastic. explained everything he did in words I understood. I highly recommend him to anyone! His staff is wonderful also!

My 7 year old, daughter broke her elbow on a Sunday night. After examining the Xrays, Dr. Fajardo made sure she was treated immediately and prepared her for surgery that evening. It was an unusual break for a child and he was responsive, experienced, kind and explained the surgery thoroughly before, after and during each visit. With him, his team and our therapist’s care we had a successful recovery and my daughter has full range of motion in her elbow. I will never forget his compassion.

Dr. Fajardo called me at home to personally explain my fracture and treatment options. Retired from a career in healthcare, I know that this kind of compassionate care is not typical. I chose him for my surgeon and had an excellent result!

Bedside manner leaves much to be desired. Seemed very keen on surgery with a significant risk and made it seem like our only option. Dismissive. Would not recommend.
