Don't go to HMC if he is working
I give this so-call doctor no stars. He fails as a doctor and a human being. Went to the ER with my sister a couple days ago. She was in a bad situation and was mentally unstable. He had no empathy. He even made a comment that he couldn't help her financially and can't write her a check. I feel for anyone going to the ER with a mental health crisis.

Really less than zero
My mother came into the ER at Holyoke medical center for being incoherent and nausea vomiting for several days. She is elderly and has Parkinson’s . He immediately insisted there was nothing wrong with her and that she has Parkinson’s dementia and that he was going to place her in a rehab/ nursing home. My mom lives alone and has never had dementia. I told him this and implored him to look further . He absolutely would not listen and simply did not care. She continued to vomit twice while at the ER. A little over 24 hours she was transported to the SNF. Less than 24 hours at SNF she crashed with life threatening hypotension and low O2 . Became unresponsive. Transported to Baystate this time . I live out of state and was told she most likely would not make it. Bottom line is she had a strangulated femoral hernia that cause a complete bowel obstruction with rotting bowel . I am a nurse of over 30 years and this Dr should not be practicing. My mother almost died because of him.

horrified
I am absolutely disgusted by what I witnessed by this 'ER Dr. Zaidi' never have I witnessed such disrespect from a Dr. the way je spoke to a older woman with serious health conditions and dismissed her, interrupted her and down right refused her care was a horrific thing to see at a hospital. This was a last resort visit and he refused to listen to any of her issues, told her she had doctors so what does she expect him to do for her? He tried to give her morphine despite her never mentioning pain and when she didn't want it he told her to go home. He insulted her, dismissed and gas lighted her, was rude to me when I just wanted her to be taken seriously as her life is in danger to her condition I was told security would be called if I kept talking by him. If you value your life and ARE A WOMAN do not see this dr. Drive the extra few minutes to wing, or another hospital but I an warning everyone this man is no dr. he does not care about anyone.

Bad bedside manners
He came into the room. Told me I’m fine and I’m basically lying about my problems. Didn’t want to listen to a word I said. Very rude no bedside manner at all. I told him my symptoms again and still would not listen and walked out and basically told me in front of everyone in the wall where he was standing that I could get dressed. Told me my pcp is lying too. If I had a choice I wouldn’t leave a star.

Has the compassion of a single-cell organism
This man has a bias against those suffering from substance abuse. It is a disease according to the AMA, so he should take his bias out with that organization instead of the patients he 'treats'.

This guy is awful. Misspelled the name of the street of Holyoke Medical Center on a death certificate. Contacted him NUMEROUS times so he could fix it. Not only did he never respond to voicemails, I ended up having to get the LEGAL department of the hospital involved. EVEN THEY couldn't convince this doctor to fix their mistake. ABSOLUTE UNPROFESSIONALITY.

I had an allergic reaction last night and got this doctor at Holyoke Hospital. Was extremely rude, and I mean EXTREMELY. I had taken my Epipen instructed by the operator on the phone while at home. I was okay when I got to the hospital. He walked in arrogantly not believing that my throat had been excessively tight and I was vomiting like crazy 30 minutes after eating to the point I had to give my husband the phone to talk to the 911 operator. He took my arms and said "no rash" and then put his head on my head and said "not stiff." He left the room and poked his head in while still in the hallway and loudly said "neck tightness is not possible and you never had an allergy to tree nuts before last time. That's funny, because I called and scheduled with an allergist today who said I definitely had an allergic reaction. Started being allergic to tree nuts a little bit ago, and accidentally ate something without thinking it had tree nuts (tree nuts are apparently in everything).

In 2016 I was on vacation visiting family when I started miscarrying. Went to the ER at Mercy to confirm. My pain intensified the next day so I went to Holyoke ER where I saw this doctor. He didn't believe my pain was real, he insisted I was faking and put something in an IV and made sure to tell me it wasn't a narcotic. The pain decreased after a gush of fluid, I was discharged and the pain continued to increase again over the course of the next week. I ended up flying home in pain, only to find out I needed antibiotics, I missed a month of work recovering. Had he believed my pain he may have ordered more than an external ultrasound and caught the issue, but because he believed I was drug-seeking he was sure I was faking. If you are a woman, seek care elsewhere. Even if I had been drug seeking, I was a human being in need of care and compassion, not what I received. He was cold and indifferent.
