Wish I could give 0 or negative stars! Horrible visit. Waste of my time and gas! Doc saw the patient who came in and was scheduled after me first. Spent a great amount of time with them, as I heard them in the next room. Then when it was my turn, she must have realized she was over an hour behind schedule. Doc was all over the place...asked my symptoms, cut me off after I barely started them. Listened to my lungs/heart. Pulled up my chart, told me I had anemia and last had labs done at Edward several weeks ago...um no. Showed me her screen and said this is you? which showed a MAN's name which I am not. Wanted to order tests that I just had done. Told her I had other symptoms I wanted to relay and questions to ask. She didn't care. So frustrated!!!

I also waited an hour plus for my appt. There was no explanation or apology. Her explanations of options were poor. I emailed and called her office 6 or 7 times to get a copy of my visit summary - 15 days after the visit. Rush policy is that the reports are issued w/in 48 hours. Her nurse said she was at the hospital and too busy to sign the report. Her office is next to the hospital and everything is electronic. I felt like she was more interested in making sure I saw she wore Jimmy Choo shoes then in my care.

My review is not showing up from two days ago. Be afraid, very afraid of her horrendously rude combative office staff. Waited an hour with no explanation of why and was treated with disdain by receptionist, assistant and supervisor. Don’t know about doctor cause I left never to return. Worst medical office experience ever, bar none!

I have to say I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Alwarshetty. While my frustration tells me to leave one star I will give two and here is why: About a year ago I suffered a heart attack and Dr. Alwarshetty performed my emergency surgery and installed my stent. I was a 36 year old woman at the time with no health issues and no heart disease in my family history and to this day no one can tell me what caused my HA. That being said, my surgery went as well as could be expected and I am very thankful for that. Since my surgery I have had a couple instances of elevated heart rate that caused for alarm and with several calls into dr. A's office, I not once received a call back, so ended up in the urgent care clinic and they proceeded to call Dr. A and also received no response. This is completely unprofessional and even the urgent care doc expressed concern for the lack of care or concern on dr. A's part. Not even a member of her nursing staff bothered to call me back.

Dr Alwarshetty gives you the time needed to discuss your health issues. Never felt I was being rushed out of the office. Has very easy professional approach and a good sense of humor.

After a year in her care she still hasn't figured out what's wrong with my heart and why I ended up in the hospital. Dismissive of my concerns.
