Best shoulder surgeon
Had shoulder surgery September 2024 and am finally completely pain free. I had seen 2 other surgeons before and both gave me injections but pain never went away. Staff is excellent and surgery center is very clean. I wished I had the surgery earlier.

To do no harm?
From my initial visit he has put me off on other doctors without openly saying it. He is the WC Dr and stated he would do the surgery after getting ct and mri, he would schedule me but I should go put on a show at the ER to make them do the surgery under my personal insurance for a oji. I got the tests done and returned back to him for scheduled visit and after a 3hr wait time it was apparent he never reviewed the results or noticed that I did the procedures, he also stated he had a 2 to 3 week wait time and I should have an alternative appointment booked just incase someone else could get to me before him, 3rd visit he tells me he didn't pit me on his schedule because he assumed someone else would do the surgery and although previously I was considered a priority stat case I could wait until I found someone else. I requested pain meds that just so happened not to get put in going on my 3rd week without meds. Save yourself, he doesn't honor his oath to do no harm. He's a joke and rude

Very unprofessional
Very unprofessional. On my first visit he told me he did not want to do surgery on my knee because of my age. On my second visit he told me to get a second opinion. On my third visit he told me and I quote no need to rush nobody is dying you’re not sick I will see you in a month. On my fourth visit he stated why are you delaying the surgery. I was very surprised since he was the one who recommended I get a second opinion. He told me to stay off my knee because the more I walk on it the more damage gets done but he released me on restricted work where I could be standing 20% of the time which makes absolutely zero sense when I question his he said he will give my information to another doctor and will no longer help me. This guy has bad bedside manners and does not look out for the best interest of the patient. He is very unprofessional if you ask legit questions. He seems to have a thing for saying you’re too old to do certain things. I can see why people get upset

Had been referred to Dr. Khan for shoulder pain. An mri confirmed a small labral tear and was treated with PRP and not cortisone. 1 month out and I am pain free. Will not push surgery like others.

I went to this doctor for a second opinion. my first ortho doc told me I needed surgery. Within the first few minutes, he told me I did not need surgery. In fact, the problem wasn't even in my knee, to begin with. He gave me an injection in my hip and my pain was gone. if it wasn't for him, I would've had my knee surgery and would still be in pain.

After a second opinion through work comp, I could immediately notice that the doctor was not pleased. He had poor bedside manner and was rude. He wanted to rush surgery, which I was not against, but at the second opinion, I was informed that a certain part of the procedure was no necessary so I transferred my care the doctor. As an aside, Dr. Khan accepts any orthopedic issue, which some may see as a good thing and many may now know. My suggestion is to follow up with a doc who specialized in certain areas of the body such as knees or shoulders.

Dr. Khan is a genius. I am very athletic and train in martial arts. My knee was starting to sideline me and I had been to 4 other orthopedic doctors before seeing Dr. Khan. All recommended a knee replacement which would have ended it all (my training). Dr. Khan looked at my MRI and said "I can help you." We have done stem cell therapy on my knee and I got my life back. It was a game changer and I did not need the drastic knee replacement after all. Doctors appear to want to go with the most expensive alternative without really thinking about the patient and his/her lifestyle. Stem cells have changed my life and I will always be grateful that I found Dr. Maher Khan. Also, he has the absolute best bedside manner.

Poor bedside manner, spent less than 5 minutes in the room. Fist appointment stated: "Physical therapy is for old people. It's not going to help you. Don't waste the time and do the exercises I told you to do at home." Next appointment: reprimanded me for no longer going to PT. This is through worker's comp, and he clearly doesn't trust how I describe the physical intensity of my job and was highly reluctant to keep me off longer to continue to heal. Exited the room without saying anything.

Ortho surgeon or a MAGICIAN? I have Benin pain since 4 years after a car collision. I have had 2 surgeries in the past and many sleepless nights filled with pain and agony. I was referred to dr Khan by my cousin who was a current patient of his. I walked in with a lot of doubt about this young doctor. Dr Khan is not a doctor who cares much about what kind of insurance you have, he only cares about improving your quality of life. I am now pain free, thanks to him. God bless!

I got into a car accident while driving with my son on our way to my sister's house. The collision was so bad that both cars were totaled. I was transported to Northridge Hospital immediately. I had a few fractures. Collarbone, wrist and three fractures in my hand. I'm a hair dresser by profession and this was really heart breaking for me. I met dr. Khan in the ER and he reassured me that he will take care of me. From the first time we met until my last appointment in his office, I can say tha

If you are looking for a doctor who practices for the sake of medicine and not money, THIS IS YOUR GUY. I came in for a second opinion. My previous orthopedic surgeon was scheduling a shoulder surgery. Dr. Khan reviewed my MRI and told me that I was too young for the surgery and that the tear will heal on its own. I was SHOCKED. I insisted that I was in pain and needed a surgery but he said he will not perform a surgery when it is not needed. I told him about how good my insurance is and to th
