I have been seeing Dr. Shah for over 10 years and he has been able to put me on the medication that has ready helped me. He listens to what you have to say and is quite considered about your feelings. I would totally recommend him.

If I could give it a zero I would. This doctor is a joke. He's the most uncaring and unsympathetic doctor I've ever met. Didn't seem to want to hear what I had to say. This was my first new patient appointment. I been feeling terrible and I was trying to explain it to him but he didn't even want to listen. He's very arrogant. He had no problem taking my copay and filing my insurance. Will never go back to that office.

Dr Shah is a very arrogant doctor. I only saw him for a few months. When I went to go see him the second time I told him the meds weren't working and he said well I don't understand why I'm not a fan of changing meds. He's not very friendly either and he scolded me and tells you to behave. Please do not go here! You will regret it

Actually, I would not give star at all. Wish there is a negative number. He doesn't care at all about his patients. Only wants to dole out medicine and see patient every 2 months. Doesn't give out proper medication for patient's condition, nor put patient in a mental facility when necessary.

This doctor is so rude and uncaring! I would never take my father back to this doctor. He doesn’t care about the patient. He has no bedside manner. No compassion. Talks down to you. Nope, not again!

If you need help, he will help himself to your money, overmedicate your loved ones and put them in danger.
This is not a joke! He should not be practicing medicine! I have no confidance that this Dr. Is compitant or caring.

Terrible, lacks compassion, and diagnosed incorrectly - for other chronic illnesses to which I'm being seen by Harvard doctors. All within a 10 minute conversation about what meds Im taking for what. He's an insult to his field.

Dr. Shah has been very pleasant and listened to understand what I was going through.. were other doctors were quick to make judgments. He did not rush and helped me through a very rough time in my life.

Dr. Shah was extremely disappointing in terms of handling my sister's treatment. The meds he prescribed were completely insufficient and inconsistent w prior medical advice. He refused to discuss his treatment, despite my sister signing a release. Due to his poor care, my sister was again hospitalized, then Dr. Shah's asst told me that his office would no longer see my sister --- Dr Shah is a poster child for what is wrong with the mental health treatment in the U.S.

Dr. Shah seems knowledgeable at his profession however, the office hours are horrible! They claim to be open Monday-Thursday, 12:30pm-4pm but on several occasions I called at 3:40pm and the office was already closed. I've been having an issue with a medication that is not an emergency, but is urgent. As a working, full time mom of 2, I'm very frustrated by the lack of communication that I can have with my doctor. He doesn't spend more then 10 min. with you and the visits always feel rushed.

This physician should not have a license much less be the SOLE Psychiatrist at Florida Hospital Altamonte. Upon my initial meeting he was exceptionally unprofessional, refused in a very abrupt manner to shake my hand and did not speak with me for more than 5 minutes. He then changed my medication which I had only been on for less than 2 days (when it takes at least 10-14 days to be effective).
Overall- run don't walk from this man! He is clearly vey impressed with himself; he doesn't care.
