Dr. Anne Mian, MD

My PCP and OB suggested I see a psychologist to determine if I had ADHA—trouble concentrating. Dr Mian had me complete a questionnaire and diagnosed me with something completely different. She put me on a drug and didn't review the side effects with me. I told her none of my symptoms had changed in the follow-up meeting. She increased the dose and took me off my other medications. The side effects I experienced from this drug were flashes of light, rashes, electric shocks in the fingers and toes, and uncontrollable tremors with spiked blood pressure. So bad that I went to the ER by ambulance as I thought I was having a stroke. Dr. Mian completely disregarded the reason the other doctors sent me to her. When I questioned her diagnosis, she told me I might want to get a 2nd opinion and increase the medication. My PCP is weaning me off this medication, which will take 6 weeks. I now have an appointment with another psychologist to address my specific issues.

1. She listens.2. She explains issues when asked.3. Telehealth is better than waiting in the office.4. She’s kind and patient.I would never want to go to anyone else. She’s the best psychiatrist I’ve ever been to.

The first appointment was sketchy at best: Dr. Mian kept me waiting for like 45 minutes with no client ahead of me, and the staff member employed there has never been friendly or helpful. I just got a call from her, one business day before my appointment, telling me that Dr. Mian is no longer on the panel for BCBS and that I would have to pay $125 to see her (with one day's notice), or the $25 copay to not actually be seen and still get my meds dispensed for another 30 days before I have to find someone new. This was not communicated to me before today, which the staff member argued with me about. I'm finding someone new anyway because the whole place seems a bit unprofessional. I'm not giving you my money just to get 1/3 of my meds and not actually be seen. And now I have ten days before my meds run out so thank you Dr. Mian's office for your incredibly ridiculous conduct.

Dr. Mian is brilliant! She has ordered the right medicines for my diagnosis. She is a caring and professional psychiatrist! I’m very grateful to her for never giving up on me.

Dr. Anne Mian is very gentle, and listen to my situations, conditions patiently. Takes time to listen and gives advices for each patient, and prescribed suitable medications. I referred her to my friend who is suffering from the anxiety. My friend is also satisfied Dr. Mian’s treatment. Thank you, Dr.Mian! And her assistant, Ms.Tracy is very friendly, and nice person!

I have been seeing her for quite a while and have found that she is very professional and dedicated to her practice. She is willing to listen to her patience and is concerned about the welfare of the patience.

Bad doctor rude has bad bedside manner treats people with disrespect and arrogance. Violates every rule possible. Stay away from this incompetent person

Absolutely horrendous experience with this Doctor.... extremely late, unprofessional and i would not recommend you going here!

Have seen her for about ten years and is absolutely wonderful she seems to just know what the problem is with me even when I'm sure it's one thing she just knows then explains I wouldn't trade her for another doctor for any amount of money.

I have been seeing this doctor for over a year during this time I have also seen two other doctors or PAs I think the staff is great and other than Unusually long wait times a time or two , I have been very pleased! I have loved the two PA’s I’ve seen they were great , the receptionist and front desk personnel ladies are awesome, I would recommend Fl psych. ??

Worst doctors appointment ever. This office has no regards to time. Each visit I am stuck waiting an extra hour or even TWO until I am seen. Please do NOT go see her.

Awful. 5pm appt & completed the patient forms to “save time” at appt. Only person who appeared to be working couldnt tell me the cost of the appt w insurance. At 530 I asked how much longer it would be, “oh I don’t know” looking around the empty room, “their are at least 2 others before you, idk 20-30 minutes”. I asked if this was standard, “all offices run behind, that’s how it works, always behind every day”. I do not have an hour+ to wait for a 30 minute appt. Clear lack of care for patients

The worst office I have ever experienced. 4 hour wait past appointment times. Written prescriptions from nurses who aren’t certified to give them. Therefore I can’t even fill them. I have been rescheduled with no knowledge. Beware. If you need more than a prescription this is not the place for you. And even that they can’t get right.

i was told my mood swings were caused by teenage hormones. Asked no questions regarding my past prescriptions, and immediately told me i didn't need them without even asking me why my situation was so bad i was on 4 different prescriptions. Never asked about my history, and i felt like i had to defend myself and that i had to prove to her there was something wrong. Felt unheard, and left feeling invalidated on issues I've been struggling with since childhood. Wish this was a better experience.

She is always late. Her staff is great. Her as a doctor should not be a doctor. As a patient you want to feel like you can talk to your doctor and have them be understanding and caring. Pretty much she does the opposite. After first meeting her I will never see her again nor will I ever recommend her to anyone else. Don't be a doctor to make money do it because you care about others

Limited schedule (less and less availability- days and hours). Wait to see her is 1-2 hours. No exaggeration. She has written Rx's several times with errors causing me to have to come back. Maddening. I'm finding another doctor.

First, there are no parking for this location that has not been taken up already by the doctors & employees. You are instructed to park in a small lot a building away. Arrived 15 minutes early to a 2:00pm appointment only to have to wait on the 3 employees at the front desk to get done with their personal lives. One employee was busy texting, one was on a personal call and the 3rd was reading. None of the 3 acknowledged my arrival. I was told by the employee that was texting that the doctor w

Gets me right in when I need to see her. Very patient and kind. Good with medication monitoring and effectiveness.

I look forward to visits with Dr. Mian She is consistently gracious and encourages me to discuss whatever is troublesome to me during our time together. Her insight is amazing. There can be a wait to see her. I never mind as know she is giving another patient the time he or she needs. The office is a comfortable place to read while waiting. Highly recommend.
