If you like being lied to, treated like a second class citizen, and ripped off by an office that only cares about volume billing and nothing else, then you'll love Velasquez Pain Relief! Pro tip: don't ask them what insurance they accept. You're likely to be given a false answer and get nothing more than an offer to pay cash for con't care when you find out the truth. I found out on the eve of a procedure from the surgery center. Not the doctors’ office. I dealt with the always inaccurate, rude, and generally transient staff for years b/c starting over in pain mgmt is well, an awful pain. Too bad I didn't respect myself enough to 86 them when I should have. I've been afraid to write an honest review as they have many avenues to exact revenge when my medical history is reviewed, but I cannot con't to be silent about such a dehumanizing practice.

AVOID!! When I arrived in the office today, the rude lady at the front counter informed me that I needed a "release" from my current pain management doctor before they would see me. When I explained to her that I didn't have this "release" because I was only seeing Dr. Velazquez for a consultation today and wanted to make sure he was the right doctor for me, she made it clear it was not her problem and there was nothing she could do. When I mentioned having called several times, including to make my appointment, and even came into the office yesterday to get the new patient paperwork, she told me I didn't disclose I was already seeing a pain management doctor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Beware .. Agreed to have a steroid injection in my neck to relieve the pain, if I would be sedated. I was never sedated and the IV for the meds created excruciating pain in my right thumb. Was told it was just the medication causing the pain. Follow up visit was given a prescription for pain by the PA. Researching, discovered it to be toxic if I took dose recommended. Another visit was told by another PA that I should only take one pill a day and not 3. Will not return. Lesson learned!!

Dr. Vasquez and his staff is awesome I go in they help me with my pain and it is been a really awesome experience.thank u all Happy Holidays

Dr V always makes sure to have me in and out with no discomfort. I can't begin to tell you how much my pain injections enable me to live and work normally again. Thank you so very much.

I wouldn't go to another pain doctor after going to Dr. Velasquez. He's helped relieve my pain from back, hip & knee issues. I was barely able to walk & now I am doing so much better. He's up-to-date on all medical procedures & is a qualified, kind & compassionate physician. He always takes time to listen to my concerns & explain things in a way that I understand. I have no doubt that if it wasn't for him I would have had a hip replacement & possible back surgery by now. Excellent staff too!

Been seeing him for approx. 2 years and find him to be very knowledgeable. I don't feel rushed and he takes time to let you explain what is happening and will explain medical condition and procedures, etc.. Very courteous. His office on Flamingo is pleasant...don't care for the one on Lake Mead.

Understands the problem, listens, knows exactly what you need. Very nice manner.

I would like to take a moment and tell folks about a one in a million Dr. who really listens and cares for you and your condition!!! He is unlike other physician's that are in and out of your room in 10 minutes. He truly cares about what is going on with you and he really wants to get to the bottom of your aliment and if he can't help you he is willing to send you to someone who can fix your problem unlike many who will keep you coming again and again just to get your money!!! He is a ****** Dr.

I love Dr. V. His compassion and caring shine through. He takes the time to listen. In fact, I never mind if there is a wait because I know he'll spend the same amount of time with me. His staff is wonderful. I'd give him more stars if I could.
