Dr. Christopher Ahn, MD

I rarely, if ever, remember my anesthesiologist's name after a 5 min meeting prior to a procedure. I rec'd a text message within 30 days. It listed an amount due, Dr. Ahn's name, no indication that he is an anesthesiologist, no reference to the date of service, what procedure, and a link.The 1st time I rec'd the text, I ignored it because it looked like a scam. 2nd time, I googled the name to determine if this was legit. NOTHING via email or regular mail. I called & the billing clerk informed me that the office does not send out invoices unless requested. I requested it. Today, I received both the invoice and a letter threatening collections (both dated the same day) stating 'we have exhausted all efforts to contact you' REALLY?You need to re-evaluate your billing methods. Text messaging with no real information to go on is NOT the way to do this. I have to assume you're trying to cut printing and postage costs... Not a good plan if you want timely payment!!!

I had anesthesia administered twice by Dr Christopher Ahn MD for a colonoscopy and endoscopy and both times it was an easy experience. I didn't have the nausea and hard time waking up I have had in the past going under anesthesia. Dr Ahn explained everything to me in detail about the procedure and what to expect which put me at ease immediately. After the procedure I awoke with barely any grogginess and felt great the rest of my day after the procedures.

Had an Endoscopy at the Horizon Ridge Surgery Center and Dr. Ahn was my anesthesiologist. He came to visit with me prior to the procedure to introduce himself and explain his roll in the procedure. At the beginning of the procedure he talked me through the process and was clear and concise. I really liked Dr. Ahn and would request him in the event of another procedure.

A wonderful anesthesiologist! I'm extremely sensitive to anesthesia. Dr. Ahn listened to my past experiences and the problems I and other anesthesiologist previously encountered. He asked good questions. He even went the extra mile with options to make the procedure more comfortable. I hope if or when I need an anesthesiologist in the future I am able to get Dr. Ahn.

This was my first experience being under anesthesia and Dr. Ahn made me feel very comfortable and at ease with everything. He has a great bedside manner that is hard to find, especially now in our busy health care world. I appreciated his patience and understanding. He answered all my questions before and after the procedure which was very nice. Thank you for everything!

Dr. Ahn is the best anesthesiologist in the business. He takes the time to get to know his patients, even if only for the short amount of time before a procedure. He will answer any and all questions you may have. I felt totally at ease in his care before and after my surgery. I have never felt better upon waking up from a procedure. No nausea, no soreness, and no drug hangover. I wish he could always be my anesthesiologist.

I was very nervous to go under for a recent procedure and Dr. Ahn made me feel completely comfortable and helped me relax just before the procedure. His bedside manner is very professional and he is easy to talk to. By far the best experience I have ever had with an anesthesiologist.

Fantastic experience with this doctor. I was very concerned about the effect of anesthesia on my breastmilk and he called me personally before and after my procedure to reassure me that there was nothing to worry about. Great bedside manner and very well informed.
