Torn Meniscus
Dr. Teurling was very thorough in his exam and knew right away my issue. I had a torn meniscus and arthritis in my knee. Surgery took place in the same building as his office. Minimal scars and healed quickly. He definitely knows his stuff.

Joint replacement
I was very impressed with Dr Teurlings and Space Coast Orthopedics. My procedure was performed with no problems or concerns and I would recommend Dr Teurlings if you need someone who is professional and very skilled in orthopedic surgery.

FINALLY, A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP
Dr. Teurlings repaired a torn meniscus in May 2020 and torn rotator cuff in 2022. I am finally pain free. Should have done this years ago. He was always very kind a caring. Every one of the staff was concerned about my comfort at all times. I thank you all! Also, Nadine and her staff at Ability Rehab were just as AWESOME

Professional & Personable
Dr Tuerlings was recommended by a couple of friends & did not disappoint. Only once was he backed up & waited a few minutes. The one problem I had was that it took 5 weeks to book a new patient appointment, but I wanted someone good to repair my torn meniscus. This is a good office to do business with....

very likely and have recommended at least 5 people
I had total hip replacement in October 2021 and highly recommend Dr. Teurlings. He is an excellent and caring surgeon and I am grateful not to be in constant pain and walk again normally. The staff and facilities are also awesome. Prompt with appointments, clean facilities and kind people. Physical Therapy is really good too.

Dr. Teurlings was recommended to me by another doctor. My husband and I highly recommend him. He listens to my reason for being in his office. He is kind and understanding and relieves me of my pain. He surgically repaired my husband’s meniscus tear. Two years later, he is doing very well. I am proud to call him my doctor.

I definitely would recommend Dr. Teurlings and his staff. My knee replacement surgery was very successful and the doctor was very patient, kind and made me feel confident. All questions were answered and consideration of the Covid virus made me feel very safe with only one night hospitalized and home health care for the six weeks following. My friends are amazed at my recovery and asking me for my doctor's name!

I visited Dr. Luc Tuerlings for my painful knees. I had visited another orthopedic dr who immediately said “You need double knee replacement”. Dr. Tuerlings took appropriate measures by having me get an MRI to see what was going on. He then suggested surgery to clean up some bone Spurs and other gunk. I have severe arthritis in my knees, but with the surgery I am now able to climb stairs again. I have not been able to use the stairs for three years. I can’t stress how professional Dr. Tuerlings is. He doesn’t rush into surgery before trying other less invasive procedures. I will possibly need a knee replacement in the distant future, and you can be sure I will be calling Dr. Tuerlings.

I followed up with this office after being in the ER for a foot "sprain". It felt broken to me. Dr. Teurlings office took another X-ray (first one taken at the ER); the Dr. told me it wasn't broken. When I told him I wanted to start PT, he said most people don't need it and put me off for a month. He did not inquire as to my level of activity or athleticism. When I asked the office for an MRI, I was told most insurance companies don't pay for one. I got on the phone to mine and they said that it was reasonable to ask for an MRI after two x-rays and consistent pain. The Dr. did not diagnose my fracture, until he read the MRI. I went to another orthopedic for a second opinion who told me he saw the break on my first x ray. This office is not for me.

Dr. Teurlings came highly recommended and my experience was above expectations. As a retired RN I went through the whole experience from diagnosis through surgery feeling not only well pleased but as a former healthcare professional proud to see the highest quality of care and concern. This not only from the Dr himself but from every single staff and team member I encountered. The Dr and his entire office and surgical team exemplify what Knowledge, Experience, Quality and Caring mean.

Dr. Teurlings is the only orthopedic surgeon I would consider using. He has "fixed" three incidents of a torn meniscus I've experienced (guess I'm not as young as I'd like to think!) and is currently treating me for arthritis in my right knee. He is very knowledgable and personable and his staff is second to none. All of my appointments throughout the years have been timely and efficient. And having on-site x-ray capabilities is certainly a plus.
