Dr. Loren Carlson, DO

I was given his name by my wonderful rehab, did a meet and greet because he was a DO. My Dr for years died ,he had kept me working for 2 years with gentle adjustments and massage .Dr Carlson doesn't do them ,does listen well and try to help. However too many decisions are being made by Office management. Hate to leave him ,but tired of being sent to wrong specialists with bad results. It's a shame, because I really like him but he's not in charge, someone else is and think it most be political economics.

Office staff needs better training. I went to him because he is a DO. For a DO, pushes satins and other medications. Very disappointed in this practice. This practice is better at billing than treating. If certain things were disclosed during my first visit with ANRP, I woukd have not returned. Time to find a real DO.

Dr. Lauren Carlson is a great doctor. Unfortunately his office does not work efficiently. They have an option where you can send an email which says “your email will be answered in 24 hours answered in the next 24 hours (business hours).They never answer. You end up calling them. Although the staff is very nice when you come in.,It was very disappointing on how the office manager handles situations. Unfortunately, it’s time for my husband and I to look for another provider. It is so important to have a good office staff to follow up with doctors orders.

I moved to Florida a year ago from Mass. I was concerned about finding a physician here. I have been to Dr Loren Carlson twice and my experience was exceptional. He takes time to talk with you about concerns and I have never felt rushed. He explains things clearly so that I understand. I have recommended him to a few people since I have been here and they like him too.

Nice enough man but not very good physician. Under his Care I suffered with a terrible back injury. He refused to send me or refer me for an MRI because I had one 2 weeks earlier and in spite of the fact that I had a severe fall 2 weeks after the MRI he said my healthcare wouldn't consider it. So I had to change Primary Doctor to get someone who did. He also knew I needed back surgery and wouldn't send me to someone near my home. He wanted to send me somewhere over 30 miles away.
