I am very happy to find Dr UmHoltz as my OB/GYN doctor. She is very attentive, caring what you need. She is absolutely an excellent doctor in my opinion.

I have been her patient for 30 years, but the first visit after age 65, I was refused service due to acquisition of medicare. She will not see medicare patients. She certainly has the right to make this choice for her practice. They knew my age when scheduling the appointment last year. There should be some advanced notice of this policy. Wasted my time and hers.

I had a very negative experience with this physician. After reviewing my medical history and making recommendations for PCOS she brushed off my additional questions and concerns regarding the treatment plan because I was not planning on having children. I felt like my concerns were of no interest to her unless I was planning on giving birth.

Very knowledgeable and personable. No wait time. Parking is horrible so you will need to arrive 20 minutes before your apt to be there on time but I'll take that over wait time.

If this place is right down the road and you just have to get your vag looked over twice a year, you don't mind waiting forever, you're ok with a very rushed impersonal visit, you don't care if they return your phone call, and you don't mind them rescheduling you at the last minute, (but paying $25 if you do) then I don't see a problem. BUT... if you are having your first child and you want to feel relaxed, happy and not like you just took a nightmarish trip to the DMV when you leave... RUN!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Umholtz's for over 30 years. She delivered my son Travis 19 years ago. I keep my annual appointment and she is always there to take care of those incidental things that occur as you get older. I strongly recommend her.
