This woman is quite possibly the WORST doctor and I do not say this lightly. Also she is a pain specialist in Santa Ana california. Let’s get into this mess of a review. So her bedside manner is not only offensive but she’s rude. I hadn’t even met her yet and she was cruel. I was coming from a different pain specialist and one that never answered calls and didn’t take the time to see me- it was always over the phone. Anyway, I had a working med that worked and helped and she took it upon herself to change that plan and stop things completely and not help with the side effects. So since it was a narcotic, I went thru pains etc as anyone would just stopping cold Turkey like that. Not only that but i went to her saying that the med I had been on for five years seemed to have stopped working and I was in quite a bit of pain and stuff- she didn’t care and told me to continue with it. She also prescribed me med that I was allergic too. She was aware of it too and still made me.

I have to say that my experience with Dr. Pitino has been nothing short of excellent. I suffer from severe lower back pain (spinal stenosis) and Dr. Pitino was recommended to me by a doctor from a different medical group. Dr. Pitino, as well her assistants Rosy and Nadia, all possess great communication skills, and after consulting with Dr. Pitino I knew why she was highly recommended. Knowledgeable, skilled and efficient. The subsequent injection procedure was a breeze. Thank you!

Dr. Pitino has been my husband's pain mgt doctor for the past 3 years. She is kind, thoughtful, and thorough. I have a medical background and she is up-to-date on current pain care. It is required of all patients to undergo randomized drug testing, as is the industry standard...she could get in trouble for NOT doing that, so no one should be upset about tested.

In my opinion, this pain management doctor shouldn't be practicing medicine. She is very abusive towards her patients. Dr. Pitino doesn't correctly give advice and demeaning when spoken to about pain issues. Puts you through unnecessary drug testing.
