I think Dr Hemphill is an outstanding cardiologist , very thoughtful and caring . She is expert at controlling cholesterol and has the patience to work at controlling levels over time . I highly recommend her .

I took my daughter recently for a visit for her high cholesterol. For a Lipid Specialist at Mass General I found her to be unknowledgeable and incompetent. She spoke to us for 45 mins gathering information and at the end of the visit, told her to watch her saturated fats and come back in 3 months for a follow up after having her blood re-tested. We didn't need to go into Boston for that. She had no clue what could be causing her LDL to be so high, even forgot to examine her, not professional.
