Not getting answers to legitimate concerns

Dr Garland treated my husband for his mesothelioma. The day of his third round of chemotherapy, he complained of the inability to drink liquids.Dr Garland simply told him that he must drink liquids. The pulmonologist working with Dr Garland had detected something on the right side of his lungs, but did not pursue a scan. We later learned that he had a metastatic peritoneal tumor that produced fluid keeping him from being able to drink, and keeping his kidneys from working properly. Dr. Garland was focused on the lungs and pleural problems. She did not take an additional scan for another 3 weeks. By that time, my husband was extremely weak and his kidneys had ceased functioning. We went to the ER. His condition improved somewhat. However, with no intervention from Dr Garland to improve his condition, my husband was discharged with hospice. He died within a week of having had the pet scan. It was not necessary for him to die that quickly, in spite of metastases of his cancer.
