Dr. Lijo John, MD

Was a blink of an eye our world changed when we heard CANCER! Wow we had started living as retired and happy! Had it not been for THE BEST ONCOLOGIST EVER DR. LIJO JOHN, our happy could’ve been short. He was young well dressed good looking caring & smart as any Dr. yet spoke to us plain and simple! Most important we love him and he loves us. Drs family and team were honored guest at my 60th birthday bash celebrating LIFE! That was over 11 years ago…GOD BLESSED ME HAVING DR JOHN AS OUR ONCOLOGIST! He was so honest and caring when he suggested a very aggressive plan for recovery! He said it’s going to be tough and real hard but on the other side is beating this CANCER! So we did and did!!! I can’t help but mention the wonderful people working with us are THE VERY BEST ABSOLUTELY SENT FROM HEAVEN. We LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE! It’s a great place to be cared for and encouraged by everyone. Looking for a way to give back volunteers are always welcome at Texas Oncology Longview Texas!!!

Dr john and his staff are wonderful. They ask questions about my health and then do everything they can to help me. The ladies and gentlemen in the treatment area are very compassionate, understanding and easy to talk to. They made sure I was comfortable and in as less pain as possible when being stuck with needles. I would and have recommended tx Oncology to several people. Its nice to know that there are still nurses who make their patients needs a priority. I've had several occasions that I had to call Dr john. Him or one of the on call drs always called me back within just a few minutes. Very helpful. Again wonderful staff, highly appreciated and recommended.

It was just a follow up appointment. Dr. John and everyone in his office are very nice and always makes you feel comfortable. He takes time to explain everything that is going on. I wouldn't go to anyone else but Dr. John.

After having Dr. John for my oncologist for more than four years, he has on every occasion demonstrated an exemplary standard of care with me and his other patients. I would highly recommend him as a health care provider, particularly to my family and friends, as he deserves a five star-plus rating. Dr. John is an exceedingly competent and thorough medical clinician, always going the extra mile in providing treatment for his patients. In addition, he is a quite warm and friendly person, who readily inspires the trust and confidence of his patients. I have told him directly that, in my opinion, the Texas Oncology Center would be getting a great bargain, if they doubled his current salary.
