After being a patient of Dr. Steffensmeier's for several years and explaining/asking questions about a desired pregnancy, when I call about a suspect pregnancy her nurse tells me to call back in 1 week. Which I do, after complications start and now we're scared. Receptionist informs me Dr. Steffensmeier doesn't see pregnant patients anymore and hasn't for almost 1 year. Now I am scared and experiencing issues and have no doctor! I will never go back to Ft. Madison Women's Center for anything!
