Rude and Unprofessional
I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this has been bothering me, and I have to share. My Dad has now passed away, but when I brought him in for treatment, Dr. Yore was so rude and unprofessional. My Dad was wheelchair-bound, and Dr. Yore told me to put my Dad on the examination table. I was 70 years old, and I have sciatica. I asked for assistance to lift him, and was refused. I was then given a cup, and asked to get a urine specimen from my Dad - something that would have mortified him to have his daughter do. Again, I asked for an aide to assist, and was again refused. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. The staff was also extremely rude. I would not wish this treatment on anyone - patient or caregiver.

I don’t know what review title means. I don’t know
My experience with Dr. you are has always been fine, I only have 50% of my hearing, and when I asked the nurse practitioner to face me with her mask on, so I can better hear her, she was more concerned abt Covid than making sure I could hear her. You are the only doctor’s office that still requires masks. Shame on you.

I never write negative reviews but...
I NEVER WRITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, BUT IT SEEMS THIS MERITS IT... I called to confirm my appointment with Dr. Yore the day before it was supposed to happen. I could not reach anyone so I left a voicemail. A few hours later, a woman called me back and said my appointment had been canceled. I was very surprised, especially since nobody called to tell me before. I asked why and she said because I had had to delay 3x before but for major health reasons, NOT because I did not desperately need to see the dr, which I do. I said I thought they should have notified me as I'd been planning it for the last month, and/or simply not have made the new appointment at all, and/or told me about their policy upfront, though knowing it would not have made any difference because I had to postpone my earlier appointments due to my brother being diagnosed with cancer and then I was sick for 5 weeks. After the first call, I was in shock, and so I called back a moment later with the intention of explaining that

Dr. Yore and his nurse treated me for a very painful bout with prostatitis . I was never in so much pain. Dr. Yore diagnosed my situation and with instructions my situation corrected itself. He’s prompt and informative and his nurse was very helpful .

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer 2 1/2 yrs ago & get scoped every 3 mos. I was nervous about switching doctors when we moved to FL from NJ. Dr Yore was highly recommended to us. Prior to my 1st exam, he took the time to speak with me in his office about my concerns. I have found him to be accommodating, professional, personable, proactive. His office staff is efficient. To my great relief, my experience with Dr. Yore has been excellent. My husband also is a patient of his.

Yore suggested a relatively new procedure, 'Rezum', for a "slightly enlarged" prostate, but "normal for a person your age" (65). I believe that I was the first person that he did this procedure on. Result: No medical improvement, but I was left with retrograde ejaculation (no ejaculation with orgasm). Upon my first post-procedure visit, he denied that the procedure could have cost this, but on my 2nd visit, he changed his tune. Result: Ruined whatever sex life I have left. Did he see $ signs?

Husband saw Dr. Yore about 1 1/2 years ago. Did a cyscoscopy. Felt there was a tumor -operated & did a bladder re-section.Tumor was removed & cancerous but said he would have chemo. Tube would be inserted into his penis each time. We did not know he should have stayed in the hospital until after we got home. This was DAY SURGERY.Told to take Tylenol for pain. Pain got worse.Went back North. More bladder surgery. Tumor was so thick -it could NOT be removed only scraped. Never told that in FL.

Bad. Kept giving me antibiotics for close to a year to cure UTI. Switched to different urologist who right away ordered a CT Scan and saw the problem right away. I need surgery which could have been done immediately if only he thought to order a scan. So I've suffered needlessly for almost a year. Stay away from him. He's arrogant, rude and just wants your money. Conceited, can't wait to get to next patient so barely spends time with you. Then starts putting me in with the PA who knows nothing
