I scheduled an appointment 59 days ago, provided all necessary information to schedule a new patient appt – name, address, DOB, insurance, email, etc. - confirmed the appointment the day before the appointment. The morning of the appointment, while I was in the parking lot of the practice, I received a call from Vera the “billing manager” - 29 minutes prior to the appointment, to let me know my insurance was not accepted. I said: this appointment was scheduled almost two months ago. Vera shouted at me not to argue with her, or she would hang up on me. She also told me they were closed for two weeks; this was a very nasty woman with ZERO consideration. She made no attempt to apologize, or suggest another practice, she talked to me like she looked down on me and my Cigna Connect EPO insurance. While I’m sure the providers and staff are great - think twice before scheduling an appointment here.
