7hours of emergency surgery and I walk again
I suffered a condition called foot drop where I couldn’t control my leg or foot. I thought I had just pulled a muscle. After 3 days suffering and unable to walk I went to the ER. Dr Gravely told me my condition could be permanent if I don’t have surgery right away. He canceled a surgery that was scheduled and put me in the slot. My spinal cord fluid was clamped off by arthritis in two spots and paralyzed my leg. He warned me it would be a difficult and long surgery 7-8 hours on my 3 lowest lumbar vertebrae. He started at noon and I woke up in recovery at 10 pm. I was hospitalized for 3 weeks but able to walk when I left, all thanks to Dr Gravely. I’m 6 months past the surgery and I’m stronger and able to walk 6 miles and more daily. I had several angels on my side and Dr Gravely was number 1. Huntington Hospital and the staff there were amazing, I couldn’t have been in a better place.

Dr. Gravely is an amazing physician. He did my double cervical discs replacement and relieved me from excruciating pain . The only problem is his office and contact number . How can I contact to the office and bring him my concerns when there is no one in the office . I uber and went there today but still no luck.

I visited two other neurosurgeons and Dr. Gravely's physical exam was the most comprehensive that I received. I was having some minor neurological issues and this doctor spend so much time performing multiple tests during his physical exam. The only negative is that he doesn't accept credit cards, so you'll have to have a physical check to pay your co-pay.

I ended up in the emergency at Huntington hospitol and was lucky enough to have Dr. Gravely on call. From the moment he started talking and explaining in great detail what was wrong with me. I knew he was who was going to do my surgery. He talked me through everything. He was there when I went to sleep and when I woke up. It has been 9 months since my surgery on my back and I am 100 /. I have no pain and I am so great ful that this man was on call that night. I couldn't walk or control my bodily functions and he repaired me and kept me out of pain. I have the most respect for this Dr.

You are in good hands with Dr. Gravely. He Explains everything in great detail so you feel fully aware in informed. My sister had her surgery with Dr. Gravely and we are very satisfied with her care from him. If you are going to have anyone’s hands on your brain, this is the surgeon you want.
