Dr. Kumkum Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a rare find of a GI specialist. She is a great listener that takes the time to hear out your concerns. Once heard, she will give her expert opinion without making you feel rushed in the minimum. I had a colonoscopy done and it was all such a smooth experience. Availability was within a month for first consult that I was able to book on her site, and quickly thereafter for the exam.

Unfortunately unable to locate her made an appt waited 3 months for date and day before called to get my appt time and was told no longer with them why can't old offices let you know where Dr's move to I really was looking forward to my appt with her as I had met her at a private event.

I had such an awesome team of loving, kind, brilliant women from the start to finish of my colonoscopy procedure---the energy was so warm and comforting. They were swift and smooth. They did a phenomenal job and inspired me! I appreciate men and all they do, but being in a space with only female energy during such a vulnerable procedure, was really phenomenal and such a blessing. The professionalism was top notch. My colon is healthy, no issues, thankfully. To ALL, I highly recommend Providence's Dr. Kum Kum Patel and her incredible team, @St.Joseph's/ Orange. COLON HEALTH is WEALTH. She doesn’t know anything about her patients. She does not check your records or history before a visit and prescribes medication she thinks would be beneficial that you are already taking! She does not respond to portal or phone messages and can’t be bothered to put in an accurate authorization needed for medication to be continued.

Dr. Patel is funny, kind, compassionate, and efficient! Very confident and she is a great communicator! I wish ALL doctors could be like her! Dr. Kumkum Patel is the BEST Gastroenterologist I have EVER had!
