Negligent
I had a toenail removed by a podiatrist Kristin Titko and even though I informed my concerns to her. She patronized me and she didn’t give me antibiotics to prevent an infection. Three days after the toenail being removed my toe swelled along with my other toes, the pain was horrible. I called her and she told me to take ibuprofen and just then prescribe an antibiotic. When I went for a follow up she did not even apologize! or try to see what she can do to fix what she did to my toe. All of this was an awful experience that she could have prevented. Currently I am in my third week unable to walk due to the pain and I am still battling the infection. Do yourself a favor and find a different podiatrist.

Unprofessional and Rude Bedside Manner
On my very first visit, this Doctor was Rude and Unprofessional in the manner in which she spoke to me regarding my foot ulcer (hole). I had never visited her before and visited her the first time due to her popularity and the fact that she is an athlete. She tried to demean me; talk down to me and even said, "I don't know if I can save your foot ot not." Three weeks later and my foot is healed (with the exception of Hammertoe). I will never pay a $50.00 copay and $550.00 total to be talked to like I am less than Human again. Her Office Staff was kind and professional.

I have been taking my 93 year old dad in a wheelchair to Dr Titko’s Mt Healthy office for toenail cuttings for years. I even have been driving him 20 min to get there since I moved him closer to me. Yesterday her office staff was extremely rude to me because I was 15 min late to my appointment. They closed the office for lunch and refused to open because I was late. When they told us they were ready, all they said was we need his insurance card and photo ID. I’ve been taking him for years and never was asked for his photo ID!!!! In order to get my dad there I need to rent a handicap vehicle and make sure his caretaker takes him to the bathroom before we can leave (after he wakes from his nap). Every other time I’ve gone I’ve waited 15-30 minutes to get in, so I was hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a problem. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them & their lunch. I will not be back to their office.

Dr. Titko does not do a good job explaining treatments and options. I always ask if a treatment is covered and when I choose the option that is covered vs. the one that cost $1000+ and is not covered by insurance, Dr. Titko rushes me out of the office with little explanation of my treatment. She always makes me feel like I'm wasting her time since I'm not paying the big bucks. I would NEVER recommend this doctor. I have never experienced anything like this from any doctor.

Dr. Titko is the worst Doctor I have ever seen, and cost me thousands of dollars. Her attitude to myself and her staff is arrogant, yet when she makes a mistake she doesn't admit it. Instead, she will belittle you in front of her staff. I was told by a 19 year orthopedic surgeon, that I was the worse case he had seen after her care. What could have been 2-3 months cost me 8 months of recovery; being in a boot, cast, crutches, weekly visits, shots not needed, etc. Caused osteoporosis and other iss

Doctor Titko is an excellent doctor for dancers and athletes. She is always clear and truthful and will use conservative measures ahead of surgery when possible. An athlete herself she knows what it takes to get you back on your feet!
