Dr Rao is very attentive. She seems to actually read our daughters chart before we speak to her. She is very knowledgeable and understanding. The front staff are ok for the most part..You get typical medical assistant behavior.

Dr. Rao, her medical assistant Amanda, and the diabetic educator Jodie are amazing! However, I rated 3 stars because of the in betweens. It would have been 5 stars if the rating were based solely on Dr. Rao, Amanda and Jodie. However, The office staff is disorganized, and the ladies on the phone are rude and inconsiderate. One of the other diabetic educators is condescending, and the other speaks to you as if you too are a pediatric patient, rather the parent, an able and capable adult.

If you have Tricare Prime request to see someone other than this doctor. They over book and won't admit it and then give you a huge problem setting up a new appointment after you've waited 2 hours after your appointment time. Save yourself the hassle and request them to give you a different doctor.
