Dr. Komal Talati, MD

Her staff that schedules appointments, were very condescending and rude. I was referred to her office, but the representative by the name of TWILIA , wouldn't pre-schedule an opening for my mother to be seen with asking me to give her insurance information FIRST, before she opens Dr. Talati schedule, and I was only asking if she has an opening. Unfortunately, if her staff does potential patients this way, I can only imagine the kind of care she would receive..........

Great atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Clean facilities. Dr. Talati is considerate and takes time to listen.

Dr Talati is my PCP for last 8 years, she has shown good medical decision making & utmost respect for my health concerns. She spends appropriate time explaining me about new treatment plans and I trust her with my life.  I have found the Everyday Well patient portal to be very useful in communicating with her office and to review my lab results. Their office is clean and follows all the Covid protocols. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with her care.

I trust Dr. Talati and am beyond grateful for her care over the years. She has great bedside manners and always takes the time to listen.

Love Dr. Talati. I feel very confident in her skills and appreciate her caring for me and my family.

If I could give zero stars I would. I wish I had read the comments about her before going to see her and having to experience them first hand. All of the negative comments are true! She is not knowledgable, she's uncaring, and very unprofessional. Why is Memorial Hermann keeping her on staff? After nine years she appears to be unable to build a patient load on her own so I assume being on staff keeps her employed. If you value your life don't put your health care in her hands. Dr. Talati is The Best PCP I have ever had in my healthcare team. She is so caring and took my concerns as priority; Helping me to find specialist in my network, or appeal to my insurance on my behalf so I can have to care I need, all of this in a culture of Hope, Faith, and Patient's centered care. Excellent! She asked pertinent questions and was “right on” with insightful questions? I am pleased.

Dr. Talati is the most uncaring, unprepared, unprofessional doctor that I have ever met. She shows little regard her patients and more interest in your next visit. After a brief visit with her with questions about my health issue, she wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way. Then refuse to refill it without another visit. She's not only rude and all about the money. Most of all, she is worthless to her patients and an embarrassment the Memorial Hermann Medical system.

I was not pleased with Dr. Komal Talati. She was in a hurry asked me to make another appointment to discuss my health concerns. So every time I make an appt, she wants me to only speak about one thing. I felt that she cares more about the money. We all care about the money, but we have to stay professional and treat others with dignity, specialty if they are your patients. She left the clinic in the middle of the visit and sent a staff that asked me to sign a paper agreeing on paying $450 if my health insurance doesn't cover the visit. In the end, I felt that she pushed me out of the clinic. I left the clinic feeling so bad. I Will not recommend her.

Dr. Talati's communication skills are poor at best. She comes across as uncaring and doesn't ask specific questions to determine how the patient really feels. I have worked with hundreds of doctors as a nurse over the last 40 years and she is one of the worst. Don't waste your time.

Dr. Talati is rude and refused to see my mother when we were on time for our appointment. She makes you come several times and will not address more than 2 issues at any visit. Does not practice ethics of care. Avoid her if at all possible.
