She is kind,patient, caring and listens to me and scheduled me for specialist I should see at my request, I've been with her for 3 years

Dr. Overton is wonderful. She has worked with me to get my health back on track and has never given up on me. Trying different medications until we found ones that worked. She has help me turn my life around and I will forever be grateful.

I had 2 somewhat urgent, and very painful issues that were separate from eachother and couldn't see my PCC for 2 weeks. I was able to see her and she spent a lot of time with me even though I could tell she was busy. 1 thing she told me she thought was the problem, I at first questioned. It didn't take long for me to find out that was absolutely the problem. I'm so thankful I saw her and I'm amazed how she was able to pinpoint the issue that's actually been causing my symptoms. She was spot on!

I'm an older woman who happens to be slender, the first time I saw her she tried to "throw" a pill at me to make me eat more. After almost being killed by an RX, I told her eating enough wasn't my problem, been slim my whole life & went on w/ what was bothering me. I don't think she's listening. Fast forward 1 1/2 years, I got back from a trip from visiting mother in the mid-west, a 3 day drive. My ESA had been very sick because of his cushings. 2 1/2 weeks I discover I lost 10lbs. I ask Dr O for a blood test w/diff, worried I'm going to end up like my dad or Aunt. She accuses me of starving myself, being on a diet and wanting to lose weight! If all that were true, why was I there getting a blood test? On top of that, when I said none of that were true, that I thought she needed more education & I knew somebody she could talk to - she blew up- told me I had to call her DR OVERTON, DR OVERTON,DR OVERTON, DR OVERTON, DR OVERTON, then she said I think you need a different doc & walked out

Dr. Overton saw me for a new patient appointment, spent my appointment time reading and trying to get up to speed on my history, did not even touch me during appointment, spent less than 5 minutes on my top health priority, then made a prescription. My patient Visit notes had complete inaccuracies. I sent messages and made phone calls with questions and clarifications and never got a response. Ever. She should be dismissed.

Needs to go back to medical school. Does not understand common conditions and how they affect the body. Dismissive of serious issues. Patient shaming. Flippant about vaccines. Had no clue who to refer me to for my needs. I will not be going back.
