Abysmal at Best
I have dealt with many doctors over the years, and by far, Dr. Carlton is the worst. Her bedside manner is that of a Hun; her attitude is abysmal and condescending, and her knowledge is finite and limited, yet she puts on the air of superiority. When I explained my medical history, she did not believe my prior documented diagnoses and called my previous healthcare providers charlatans and inept. The best thing Dr. Carlton can do to help the medical community is to leave it and never come back.

Dr Carlton no bedside manure
My doctor left the practice, so they moved me to Dr Carlton. She made me feel so unwelcome and dismissed any of my concerns. I could hear her and her nurse talking about the doctor who had left and it wasn't anything a patient should hear. I wouldn't recommend this doctor or the practice to anyone. I walked away from my appointment feeling like all they wanted from me was my payment. Dr Carlton did nothing to help me she even made me feel bad about asking questions

Avoid this doctor
Upon my first visit with her, she was very nice and friendly. She referred me to ADD testing, which they use this weird male sex counselor and the place is so outdated, you feel like you time hopped to the 1960s. I spent so much wasted time and made numerous appointments with this male, only to come back and her to refuse to treat me and label me without even knowing me. Just believing what this male counterpart presented to her. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Most definitely has a bias to young people! Please save your time and avoid her at all costs. Dr. Phillips in this practice is so much more caring and professional!

Every once in a while ….
Every once in a while, we meet someone who is exceptional at what they do. Such is the case with Dr. Carlton. She is ‘no-nonsense’, direct and to the point, but most importantly, she gives good advice and sound medical counsel which, if followed, leads to a better, healthier ‘you’. Do not expect any sympathy when you have a follow-up visit with the same ailment without making an attempt to follow her guidance. She is the ultimate professional who expects a lot from folks around her and, believe it or not - from her patients, too. I have nothing but respect for Dr. Carlton and am so grateful to her for helping me become a healthier person.

Dr Carleton abruptAnd abrasive tone. Very impolite unprofessional attitude. When I requested a different doctor Carlton sent me a 30 day letter terminating me from the practice. In my opinion this was in retribution and retaliation for me requesting a male doctor at the practice. My advice is to stay away from this practice entirely and in particular Dr Carleton. On a positive note The first doctor I was assigned by this practice abruptly disappeared with no explanation. His services were excellent and we had no problem at all until Dr Joseph Cihlar left the practice.

Dr. Carlton was extremely insensitive and did not allow me time to explain my symptoms before cutting me off. She said very rude and passive aggressive things to me throughout the visit. It felt like paying a good sum of money to someone that just degraded me. If you are a young person, especially while in college, I would not advise visiting this doctor since she seemed to have a bias. I have never been treated so poorly by a health care provider.

Always a long wait. Two separate times, I waited an hour+ to see Dr. Carlton (I arrived on time). I saw her for less than 10 minutes both times, and she only addressed one issue before exiting. When I tried to ask another question, she said she was behind schedule and didn't have time for that -- I'd need to schedule another appointment because she can't give anyone more than 15 minutes. I let it slide the first time because everyone has bad days, but the second time confirmed inadequate care.
