Left his office in tears...
During my visit to Dr. Syed, I hoped for compassionate care for my complex symptoms—severe pain, fatigue, and more—that started post-Covid. Although aware my weight may play a role, I know something else is at play, recognized by a previous rheumatologist out of state. Unfortunately, Dr. Syed reduced my condition to a weight issue, overlooking the intricacies of my health. Despite my efforts to improve my well-being, his dismissive attitude and claim that there's no 'magical solution' left me feeling unheard and belittled. Patients deserve to be seen beyond surface-level judgments, especially when facing multifaceted health challenges. I'll be seeking care that respects and addresses the full scope of my health.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Syed for about 5 years now. Honestly not pleased with the care that I’ve received. Considering that I have a CHRONIC DISEASE! I live with this disease EVERYDAY. You can go to school and become a rheumatologist but at the end of the day, no one walks in my shoes. I suffer daily and when it’s time to see Dr Syed (which appts are Completely booked up for months) I’m the made to feel like “oh what fatigue”, “eat this eat that”. I do all the right things. I need a doc who listens to their patient what I’m going thru say by day. Help me. Don’t act like this is just a business, this is my life!

The visit my daughter experienced with Dr. Syed was very unprofessional. He did not listen thoroughly and dismissed her thoughts and feelings on what could possibly be wrong, she tried to explain multiple times that arthritis runs within our family and he repeatedly told her that she has “no proof “ because she “does not know who their doctor is and what the diagnosis was” he constantly interrupted her and told her she talked too much and insisted that her joint pain was due to her weight. he continuously used her weight as the diagnosis which is very unprofessional and arrogant. He also said that he would run blood tests only and if nothing came up on those tests then there was nothing he could do for her. There is no reason that my daughter left her appointment crying and upset. HR will be hearing of this. I also read through previous reviews and most seem to be atrocious. Complete waste of time. This office should be ashamed to have this individual on their team. My star rating 0.

First off, Dr. Syed has a great sense of humor, so the fact that he’s so likable, easy going and easy to talk with immediately made me gain a sense of trust. Any Physician who can make a patient smile and laugh throughout a visit where there’s worry, gets an A+ in my book! He thoroughly listened and addressed my concerns, but after ordering numerous test on separate occasions, we were still unable to pinpoint what’s causing my pain and discomfort. I’m going to give it some time to see if the pain passes. I do completely trust him though.

Acts superior and condescending. Didn’t listen to my symptoms, pain etc. just cut me off. I went in knowing I had osteoarthritis and was in bad pain and I came out 10 minutes later knowing the same and in the same pain. No empathy or caring. Waste of time.

Condescending manner is insulting. No bedside manner. Arrogant and unapproachable with questions and treatment options. Keep looking for a physician who feels you are not wasting their time.

Dr. Syed did not see my joint pain as arthritis and tried to send me out the the office within 10 minutes. He didn't do any testing, and only prescribed blood work when I told him my pain was so bad I can't climb the stairs. Ridiculously unprofessional to dismiss a patients pain with 10 minutes of information and no testing. I would never go back.
