Highly rec. Five star Surgeon !
Dr Tran is a very competent and meticulous surgeon! I'm saying this with 30 years as RN who worked in the Operating Room . I have in worked in Four major cities in the United States and cannot say that about many of the surgeons I have worked with in the my years as a nurse. Not only is he a gifted surgeon he is a personable surgeon who takes the time to answer questions, and makes a patient feel secure and safe that you are in good hands. His team was very good as well ,and responded to portal questions in a timely manner. His post op care consisted of a series of questions to answer weekly as well as exercises that were given as goals to reach. I think other surgeon should take some lessons from him they can definitely learn a thing or two! Thanks you for your wonderful care during my knee replacement recovery !

One happy patient
Dr. Tran and his team are just amazing. Just finished my recovery from my 2nd knee replacement with him. He helped guide me through the recovery and pushed me even when I didn't want to be pushed, but it was definitely what I needed. He's like that tough football coach you had in high school. He is so invested in your health and really wants you to well after surgery and my results speak for themselves. Now I have my life back and am back to playing tennis multiple times a week. Can't thank Dr. Tran enough.

Great doctor
I love Dr. Tran. He has been taking care of me for a few years now. I have some knee arthritis and his recommendations for PT and occasional injections have kept me active. He is very thorough, and his staff and team have been great.

Amazing surgeon and human being. Changed my life
Dr. Tran is the best doctor I've ever had. I came to him with horrendous hip pain on both sides for several years. I had my left hip replaced first. Unfortunately during my recovery, a family member passed away who was helping to take care of me. Dr. Tran and his staff were so caring. They called me every few days to make sure I was doing OK and to see if I needed help getting to a rehab facility to get more support since I was now alone. I was also very depressed after the passing of my family member. Dr. Tran reached out to my primary doctor and together they got me therapy services to help me through my depression. He was so kind throughout my recovery and unexpected setback. He went well above and beyond what I would expect from my surgeon. Needless to say I had him replace my other hip a few months later. When I came walking into his office without my cane for the first time I could see his face light up. He's truly so invested in his patients' wellbeing. What a lovely human being

Talented Skilled Personable Surgeon
Fabulous! I am a runner. Dr. Tran listened. He went out of his way to study my knee for a partial replacement versus a full replacement. I was pleasantly surprised by him calling me personally several times to ask further questions. Talented. He did a partial replacement. I never used a walker or a cane. The Scripps follow-up was unpleasant, which is a different topic. [Dr. Tran go into private practice.] Ten months later, I'm running again at age 60+.

Great doc
Dr. Tran was amazing. Explained what might be causing my knee pain very well and thoroughly explained my treatment options. I thought for sure I'd need surgery, but he was great at explaining my non-surgery options, which I was happy to hear (I'm deathly afraid of surgery). He was a patient and caring doctor and seemed very thoughtful. I'm happy he's my doc.

NOPE, NOPE, & NOPE.
My experience was also on the negative scale. I have had Osteo doctors in the past, so know what to expect. This was not what I expected. Everything I said about the pain in my hip or the sudden onset or cause of the pain, he refuted. He recommended waiting for surgery for 5 to 10 years. I would either be close to or in my 80's by then. That is ridiculous. He basically told me to use OTC pain meds, which I had previously told him don't work and are also listed in my bio under allergies and reactions. Not only that he did not even take the time to go over the x-rays with me. The nurse brought the x-rays up on the monitor so I could see them for myself and I sent them to my Chiropractor who later went over them with me and stated that the end of the ball of my femur is bone on bone with the hip socket, which was easy to see. I would not recommend.

Amazing physician
Dr. Tran was phenomenal and a great listener. He helped explain the potential causes of my pain in a very thorough and thoughtful manner. He worked with me to develop a treatment plan that matched my goals. Very happy with my experience with Dr. Tran! Not sure what the one negative review is talking about. Just look at his other reviews online. Those are definitely more in line with my experience. Would definitely recommend him.

terrible Doctor. Find someone else!
Dr Tran was one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. He walked into the exam room, talked to me for 5 minutes - then told me - you will have to go so someone else. I don't work on this. And turned on his heel to walk out. We waiting 6 weeks to see him thinking he could help. He was completely dismissive about the level of pain I am in. He is an awful doctor and person in general. He was curt, rude and dismissive and really did not listen to, or hear one word I said about the level of pain I am in. He told me - if you are in that much pain - go to a hospital. My wife asked "what do you mean? we should just leave here and go to a hospital?" He said - "no - when the pain gets bad enough, just call an ambulance." He did not give any diagnosis, advice or remedy. He just said - if you are in pain, go to the hospital. Why would you come here? Then he turned around to walk out. Truly the worst doctor experience I have ever had. He is an awful doctor.
