Excellent Surgeon!!!
Dr. Patrick O'Meara is one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I love his 'old school' style. He is exactly the kind of doctor I love and I have already recommended him to other people.

My experience with dr o’meara was pleasant. I think he is a get down to business, take no crap kind of dr. He is a very competent surgeon and did an awesome job. If bedside manner is more important than competency then you may not care for him. As for myself I prefer to be able to trust that the job not only gets done but done right! I have complete confidence in Dr OMeara and his skills as a surgeon. He is a professional.

Amazing Professional
He worked his form of magic on my fathers knee that required a great deal of skill in replacing a partial with a full revision. His approach to both his patient and the supporting family was assuring, effective and demonstrated command and caring over the patient in his care. His expertise coupled with his genuine compassion brought tears to my father’s eyes. I don’t typically complete a review but don’t know else to acknowledge such an outstanding professional who only wanted to see his patient walk down the hall better than he came in.

Crook
Dr. O'Meara demonstrated a conflict of interest and has business cards and a sign-up waiver pushing an alternative Medi-Cal insurance group. In my opinion, he submitted an incomplete authorization request to intentionally have my authorization denied so that I would be pressured to switch insurance groups, breaking my care with other health providers for my injury just so he could be paid more.

I had total hip replacement which has gone perfectly. I've healed well and the hip is strong. I wish I had been approved to see O'mera much sooner than I was.

Dr. O'Meara claims he examines you but does not as he spent less than 15 minutes talking and did not examine but claims in his report for the insurance company that he did. He knows that you are hurt due to your job but claims without foundation that you did not get hurt at work when you clearly did. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. O’Meara literally put Humpty Dumpty back together again after a car accident. I would recommend him to anyone who needs joint replacement. Great with pain management too. Surgery went well and always a pleasure to see him and his staff at the office. D Mehew

The first two appointments went fine. We had a good conversation and he wanted me to wait until the second appointment to make the decision on the surgery. At this appointment we discussed what he wanted to do in the surgery (3 items being fixed). The pre-op appointment was my 3rd appointment and let me say how drastic a change that was. I went in with questions (this was my very first ever surgery so I was very nervous). I couldn't ask many questions and the ones I did ask were seemingly dismissed. Then the end of the appointment was awful (at this point I should have called the surgery off). The nurse asks my wife to leave the room and wait in the waiting room and gave us some B.S. about their policy being the patient only can be in the room while signing and receiving the papers. Then Dr. O'Meara comes in and accuses my wife of being a drug addict. Seriously dude? Then gives me this long speech and warnings about the meds. I can break this down for you real quick. MY WIFE HAS EARLY

Dr. O'Meara is a great doctor. He took the time to FULLY evaluate my current issue with my knee. He recommended several options that were possible, and patiently worked with me to fit my treatment needs. He is very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and to top it off he has a great personality.

Unfortunately Dr. Patrick O'Meara was assigned as my QME physician. After working in hospitals for over with physicians and nurses I was very surprised at Dr. O'Meara's approach to my QME exam. He tore all of my physicians that I had seen, including a very reputable Neuro Surgeon, apart stating I have had terrible medical care for the last 8 years. He examined me for a total of 3 minutes and in those 3 minutes his conclusion was that I was a workers comp fraud. HE is the fraud, RUN far!

Do NOT choose Dr. O’Meara for anything. He really messed up my ACL repair. He left two masses of suture material in my knee that had to be surgically removed by another surgeon. He cut the nerve across the front of my knee cause he was too lazy to work around it. Please do yourself a huge favor and pick another doctor other than O’Meara

Every bad review on here is deserved. This man was the most arrogant and condescending man I have ever met. Not only was he belittling and rude but he also told me that Physical therapy won't help anyone, anything my primary told me was wrong, Urgent care was trash, & chiropractic or anything natural was a joke. My doctor sent me because of knee problems & to drain a baker's cyst (which you can see w/o an x-ray). Yet he denied it was there & just wrote me a prescription. Horrible experience.

While Dr. O'Meara was not the friendliest person, he was efficient and his staff was great. My primary DR thought I would need surgery. Dr. O did x-rays, gave me a shot of something miraculous, and I've had NO PAIN since.
