Dr. Kevin Cronin, MD

Dr. Cronin is very personable and truly takes the time to understand your issue. I have had other Dr's in the past where you get the sense that you have a short window to explain your issue and they are concerned with getting on to the next patient. Staff has been nice as well.

Doctor Cronin is, first and foremost, a great and caring human being. He is an excellent doctor. He does not push medicines you do not need, and he is conservative in his referrals. He gives you enough time to ask all questions and always has answers to all your concerns. My husband and I love this doctor and his practice, UrbanCare.

Dr Cronin is handling my Hypothyroidism and other concerns with utmost care and communication.

Dr. Cronin is very patient and really takes his time when listening to any and all of my concerns during each visit. He is very knowledgeable and professional, and if any additional testing is needed for me, he refers me for the proper testing if it cannot be performed at the office. I have seen Dr. Cronin for several years now and I highly recommend him.

Dr Cronin takes time with his patients. He is very knowledgeable and always gives you all the information you need, without treating you as inferior to him. He never acts like he has somewhere else to be and he definitely treats you with respect.

I have a bad history with the medical system. My experience with Dr. Cronin was very refreshing. I got an appointment quickly. I got in for a follow up quickly. Wait times were great for today’s standards. Dr. Cronin took time to listen to all my concerns, Explains things in depth, And made me feel like I had control of my care. I have never had such a positive medical experience.

Visit was scheduled for the following week. Dr. was attentive and explained to me in detail.I was see on time. no waiting. Re fills RX's as needed. Test results were back to me in reasonable amount of time

Dr. Cronin is the best; I've gone to him for many years. He's knowledgable and offers great solutions. Plus, he's friendly and easy to talk to. The Urban Care staff is friendly and efficient.

Dr. Cronin is a very thorough professional, pleasant and knowledgeable physician. He is a great educator and really listens to your concerns. The front desk staff and the other health care providers at Urban care provide excellent care. Blood draw was totally painless. I would recommend this practice and especially Dr. Cronin for medical care to my friends and family.

I've been seeing Dr. Cronin for 10 plus years. He's an outstanding PCP and genuinely cares about you as a patient. He's very easy to talk to and I never feel rushed during appointments.

Dr. Cronin is very condescending and rude at times. Didn't appreciate him laughing at my questions. I had Covid recently and the nurses refused to answer any of my questions, schedule a telehealth appointment or prescribe asthma medication so that I could stay away from the ER. They just kept referring me to the ER. I ended up in the hospital with a large bill. All could have been avoided by having a doctor and staff that cared. The entire staff is terrified of Covid and does not understand how to treat it. If you have any type of respitory issues they will charge you $400 for a Covid test and treat you in your car. Or turn you away all together. Stay away!!!

Very bad bout of Gout. Dr. Cronyn prescribed Prednisone. worked like a charm. Feel new again. Thanks, Doc

Dr Cronin may be super nice but the office staff is rude and holds up everything can't get appointments set they say things like this is the times we have to offer you if you cant make them then find other avenues for treatment. I keep trying over the last 2 years but I think I am done trying. I enjoyed him much better before in crystal lake in his own office before he joined urban care.

First visit as new patient outstanding! Listened to my every word and responded in a pleasant, understanding manner. A doctor who is no rush to escort you out-the-door.

"This facility sucks". The women working in billing department are very unprofessional. They make you pay co-pay for annual physical claiming it as annual+office visit even if you are eligible for free annual with your insurance. They are very rude if you ask for any clarification and even say you don't need to see the doctor if you don't like our policy.

The office staff constantly is screwing up the copays, then sending nasty calls and letters about paying them the copays, when they were the ones who made the mistake. A prescription will run out. The pharmacy will call them for the auto refill, and the office will not call the pharmacy back. Once you eventually call the office they will tell you it's because you needed a physical to renew the prescription. You will say that's fine, no problem, but why didn't you just call me and tell me that, or at least tell the pharmacy that, rather than making the pharmacy and I jump through hoops, while you don't respond,  and I'm out of an important life saving medicine?! This has happened 3 times in 2 years on a 90 day supply! Ridiculous! Linda, Doctor Cronin's nurse practitioner is unprofessional and rude. When you bring up the difficulties you are having she will not apologize, refuse to work with you, and never tell the doctor.

Dr. Kevin Cronin pays attention to every little thing I tell him and addresses all my concerns.

I have been going to Dr. Cronin for over 10 years and every time I see him he is quick to follow up on every health issue I've had in the past and listens carefully to my current conditions. Whether he has a remarkable memory or takes great notes (both I'm sure) doesn't matter to me. The bottom line is that I feel very confident in my care. I think the best part is the time he takes to explain things in a way that I can understand.
