Dr. Petersen did a full knee replacement on me recently and carpal tunnel surgery a couple years ago. I like this guy!! I think he is professional and caring! I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic work.

Dr. Peterson has no experience with Trauma Surgery. This means if something goes wrong you get a quick patch job. He broke my wifes leg during a normal hip repacement. Eventually got to University of Kansas where she was declaired a "train wreck". Did a great job rebuilding her leg. Issue is Dr. Peterson pretty much blew her off and acted like everything was fine. Really, Non-Weight bearing for 12 weeks after a hip replacement. In my opinion its best to find another doctor who will act correct. Be honest and so forth.

I have had 3 surgeries performed by Dr Petersen and have at least two to go. He performed a meniscus repair then a total replacement on my left knee, and rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. June 4th I gave to get my left rotator cuff repaired and probably next March I need to have my right knee replaced. I trust Dr Petersen completely. He can be blunt when he feels that the patient is NOT TRYING to meet their recovery goals but for me, anyway, it just pushes me to work harder.
