Good doctor but frustrating experience
I've only had the initial consult, and while it went well, there is a lot to be desired. My appointment was at 3:20, but I didn't see the doctor until 4:30. He did spend a good amount of time with me, but this was incredibly frustrating. He does not have a website or patient portal, and when you call, the only non-emergency option is usually just to leave a voicemail and wait for a callback. I emailed the office medical records (to a Yahoo email address!) and requested a confirmation that it was received but got no response. All to say, I feel confident that I am with a good doctor but the practice needs help.

Unprofessional and Rushed
If I could to zero stars I would. I do not recommend this office. The doctor and his staff were very unprofessional. I waited more than two months from setting the appointment for a consultation. The day of, my appointment was moved back and hour and I waited almost another hour after arriving for the appointment and the newly scheduled time, only to spend less than 5 minutes with me. They wanted to schedule the procedure before I met the doctor and sent in a prescription to the pharmacy before I even agreed to have the procedure! Perhaps the consultation wasn't necessary in their mind, but before I have a procedure, I do like to meet the doctor and talk about it. The whole appointment was rushed, the staff seemed bothered by the fact that I was there and could care less about why I had chosen to visit, and the doctor did not seem in the mood to consult, so not a good first impression. I will be looking for another provider and will not return to this office.

Dr. Kenneth Lee is the most thorough explicator of procedures that I have ever encountered. One thing that stood out is just his wide knowledge base and ability to explain to you precisely what is happening. Dr. Lee should double as a professor based on the thoroughness of his explanations. It’s not just the procedures, Dr. Lee will explain the risks of various procedures with meticulous precision. Brilliant physician. The front office staff was very friendly and they ensure you’re all set with everything you need to know. My rule of them with all office staff is be pleasant yourself as a patient, and they’ll be pleasant with you. I would highly recommend Dr. Kenneth Lee if you’re on the fence. Check him out!

I called and ask if the Doctor does colonoscopies, the gal who answered the phone hesitantly said yes. I said, "oh it isn't mentioned on his website." She didn't respond. I said hello, "ya," she responded. By this time I'm thinking this poor gal doesn't even know what a colonoscopy is since I had to pull teeth to get any response. I said let me think about this b/4 I make an appointment. Response.....ok. Didn't even try to offer any try to make an appointment for me. I think I'll call Dr. Baez, my primary back to get a different referral. Sadly, Dr. Lee may be a great Doctor, but unfortunately, one's first encounter says a lot about a business.

Dr Lee is a wonderful doctor; he listens, he is dedicated to finding a diagnosis and he works with his patients to create a treatment plan. Although things did not move as quickly as I would have liked, I became his patient during the CoVid 19 pandemic and his very professional and caring staff got me appts as quickly as they could. And they did the paperwork, etc. in a very timely way. Kudos to this team!

Dr. Lee is thorough and answers any and all questions. He is up to date on medical information and doesn't merely give you answers that all doctors would give. His bedside manner is soothing and polite and he honestly cares for his patients.

After over 2 hours of waiting and watching them take people with later appointments in we left. Blatant disrespect for the elderly. After putting my dad in the car I went back in to have a few words with the office staff. I asked why they took other patients ahead of my dad. “I really don’t know” was their answer. The doctor was there, he stood there for a second then cowardly backed out of the room. This is who you are supporting when you go there. So if you are into arrogant cowards then this is your guy.

Dr. Lee has been very thorough in his examinations and finding out other areas that could be future problems. On two occasions he has caught incidences before the became serious problems. He is also extremely kind and very attentive to my personal concerns. Dr. Lee has been my gastroenterologist since he came to Pomona Valley Hospital several years ago. He is a true professional in all aspects of his practice. It is my respect and total confidence in him that I write this.

Very good bedside manner, friendly and very informative. Was very comfortable with him and explained my procedure well and results. Only complaint was back office staff. Appeared to be about 8 months pregnant but very rude with no eye contact. Did not introduce herself or even say good morning. I am RN and couldn't imagine treating my patients in this manner. Overall care was excellent and will definitely recommend Dr. Lee to others.

I have had a very good experience with Dr. Lee he has answered questions that other doctors wouldn't. His staff however is very rude, factitious and act like you are nothing but an annoyance.

Dr Lee is forceful in his opinions and does not listen or consider your input. If you get sick from the procedure he has pat answers. And his suggestions are ineffective. Staff like talking to a brick wall. I believe they are a firewall. I called to report a sore throat. Reported that it is normal until I found out that my throat had been scraped. They do not listen or report accurately about what is reported.`

I waited 2 hours past my appointment time to see him. Not to mention it took over a month to make an appointment. When he finally came in, he didn't apologize, but rushed me and proceeded to tell me my symptoms were in my head, but scheduled a colonoscopy anyways. When I tried to ask more questions, he said his assistant could answer them and seemed annoyed. Worst experience have ever had. Hoping this was a one time thing as it was my first appointment? Would not recommend based upon that.
