Please...more patient time and less computer time.
I've been a patient of the Wetherington practice for 16 years. When Dr. Staley retired, I shifted my care to Dr. Ken Farber. Each office visit is different. Sometimes he appears caring and actually acts like my primary care physician; other times (like today), he didn't take his attention off of the computer screen for the entire (and very brief) visit. My time is as valuable as any physicians, so I appreciate when I'm treated like a valuable customer and patient. Today, I was barely examined, and essentially pushed out the door after my weight and BP were taken. Ken Farber barely spoke to me during the visit, and didn't even extend a goodbye at the end of the office visit. That's hardly what I would call an adequate annual physical. I get the feeling that Dr. Farber has essentially checked out.

I have a current back problem and Dr Farber prescribed a drug which helped me sleep. This drug was in addition to what the Ortho Dr prescribed. It helped a lot.
